I hope and I pray they Mery will live long... Long enough to see Angelina being recognized by the whole world. I do believe that Mery is one of Angelina's strongest if not the strongest stability foundation that not only guide and protect her but also one of the biggest reasons that push her to achieve her goals and reach her dreams. Mery is the main reason why Angelina is singing today. That's why I want her to live long...cause certainly today Angelina is not yet ready of letting her go.
Hi, Leo. I'm happy to see you have this video. It so warms the heart. I remember the shot of the family when Heidi pushed the golden buzzer at that brilliant performance. Grandma Mery and Mom Sara and sister, Juliette were so proud and ecstatic. It is beautiful to see it still shining from Grandma Mery's eyes. The first-born Grandchild gets the youngest possible Grandma. And it is true that children need the tribe, not just the nuclear family. Here is an example of why. 💜
It is amazing how Angelina manages to sing anywhere and any time. If you watch her latest TikTok's, there's one where she's at Republic Records studios with none other than Jonathan Moffett (Michael Jackson's drummer!!) and she's just sitting there singing her heart out as if it was a walk in the park!!! And the admiration of Sugarfoot is very apparent. He posted in his TikTok as well saying that Angelina "is sensational!!!" One other thing I love most of Angelina is her freshness, how genuine she is. It is evident in many videos we've seen, particularly in her recent Summer concerts and of course in this video as well. Also the love these too share is unfathomable, not only as grandmother and granddaughter but there also must be a deep connection as artists! They understand each other at that level as well. One other moment that touched me very much is in the introduction to Angelina's "Easy On Me" video, when she takes her granny's hand and hugs her ( I believe that was just after Mery's recovery last year). That alone says a lot about their relationship because who other than Angelina would choose that specific scene to open the video???

Angelina's voice resonates in us when we hear it - here Mery was in close physical contact, it must have vibrated every bone in her body, such an emotional experience. Angelina needs to sing to her grandma every day - the only medicine that she needs to ensure a long and healthy life...

I can see a middle-aged couple sitting on their sofa one night when Angelina comes on TV.... One of them says, "Hey look! I think that's, could it be? The girl who sings in our parking garage?

I think, since Angelina couldn't see Mery's face at that point, but could feel her shaking, she misinterpreted Mery's shaking and thought she was laughing. Thinking this made her laugh in turn. This whole exchange of mutual love and affection gets me every time (tears).

My guess is that it was a laugh of pure lighthearted happiness because Mery is getting better...
