Former army guy here. I really like "the unit", but I like "seal team" more. I felt I could relate to that show more. The Unit" just felt to me as if the characters were based off unit members from the 1980s rather than in current times. I think that show would have had more longevity if it were based off its origin story from the late 70s early 80s. It's just an opinion.
I was an avionics tech on helos by rate. I did an IA that put me in Afghanistan the first time then I went to NSW as a tech and went back twice more, Afghan and Iraq
You're WRONG
LOVED BOTH, Loved The Unit,
But I love LOVE LOVE LOVE SEAL TEAM
In the show there are multiple teams like alpha through echo.
Best SF show is without doubt Ultimate force

I'm going to have to check this out!
So what did you do in the Navy that warranted 3 combat deployments to the Middle East? Boat? Corpsman? NSW?

That show is a joke, it's woke AF, and apparently spec ops wives are allowed to know covert deployments and mission details.
in Seal Team? I don't think I've ever seen someone in seal team read in the SO on an op, at least nothing more than vague details
Woke how? Be specific?
