I loved all of them but I think the planters are my favorite when my granddaughter gets her MIL stuff out of my garage I would love to get few things to set in there to do some wood crafts thinking of starting with a jig saw and some kind of bench to start with, hey I could make work bench. 😂 I’m 80 years but not ready to give up yet. Thanks for all the ideas, your instructions are great. ❤
I'm so happy to know there's someone else who doesn't have a table saw for these types of projects. Going to try the birdhouse for sure cuz I have the 12" version of that same miter saw. I LOVE IT.
My first love was wood working. We made and sold picnic tables and cut offs made children’s sized! TONS of fun and sales! Snowmen etc became my jam, I’ve traveled to crafting arenas and am coming full circle to woodworking! Just subscribed to Anna White! THANK YOU!!!!! ❤
Tks lady, I really appreciate you showing us aka teaching me how to feel safe & actually make things that I can really use, share & sale if needed. I believe this is my favorite video ever. Tks so much
Oh my goodness you are the best little Carpenter you just make it look so simple and in my eyes it is not but I love all your Woodworks thanks for sharing sweetie
I've used these planks for years. So economical! I also like that you show that boo boo can happen to the best of us because hey...life happens! Beautiful work!
The planter box idea is awesome. Quick-Tip for cutting the sides, when you cut the 16" Piece for the bottom, just pivot it 90 degrees, grab a scrap piece of wood and place the bottom piece on top of the long uncut piece then use the scrap and push both pieces against the (Thicker) scrap piece pencil mark the width of the bottom piece (Placed making an L Shape with the picket & Bottom), its not a big deal, but will save time if doing a lot and goes quick, plus get a perfect width.
Whitney, you are such an awesome lady. So much talent. If you order ahead of time, what do you do about warped wood? Have you ever thought of doing a Q and A video? I have questions! I love those flower boxes. Thanks for an awesome video!
That’s a great idea Patty! I should do a crafty Q&A video, maybe in May? Also, when I did my ordering, they charge you, but you drive back and still select your wood. If it’s a pick up situation, I’d check it all over and ask for different pieces if they aren’t to your liking. I’ve done that before :)
I also love to do wood projects-because g barn quilts, picture frames, etc. Thank you for adding the measurements and files so we can duplicate your cool diys. I love all your projects. Your style is sooooo me!
I really love all of the projects. I plan on making 3 of the crate storage boxes. I'll be making one for my son, one for a friend that just moved and, of course, one for me. 😊
Definitely the planter boxes. I have been looking for planters to put in front of my front stoop and I think these would be perfect filled with flowers.
I could not have watched this at a better time. I just bought my very first saw and am looking for things just like you posted here. Thank you so much! ❤
You touch my heart of loving wood projects every time you do a video on it. You are so talented n your instructions are so easy to follow. I actually love all your videos. I can feel you true love. Thank you.
Wow I love these ideas. You have given me a list of things to buy. My dad ani use to do wood projects and all when he was alive. He did all the wood cutting and helped me with assembly. such an inspiration. So thank you for making want to do all of this again.
I love all these projects! I am excited to make the planter boxes! Thank you so much for this very detailed and thorough video! I appreciate how you included the measurements. I am also a fan of Anna White!
Great job, Whitney, I can't keep up with you..lol. you intrigue me to do so much crafting. From your screen printing shirts to Aching glass. Now your awesome wood builds. I want to dab in it all eventually. Thanks for the videos you share. I learned a lot.
There's a design of planter boxes that I've done that I sold over 100 of them in my little town in a couple months. They hold 10-12in hanging baskets makes them easy to swap out plants. Lmk if you'd be interested in design. It's only 2 fence pickets, glue, and 1in brad nails nothing else
I loved all the projects, you are awesome with the power tools! They scare me, I would love to try and make the sign post, I will have to pray alot before I make that. Thanks again for always sharing your great work.
Hey Felicia! I was right where you were too a few years ago! Check out this clip: ruclips.net/video/sb2BL2bsHx8/видео.html You can hear me say "I've never cut with a saw before and I'm kinda scared" as my husband was teaching me. The more you do it, with proper safety measures, the more comfortable you'll become :)
I've had a picket in my garage for a while now. I walked by one day and wondered if I could make a box with it 😅 definitely going to give it a go after this video. Also, thanks for the site referral! I love wood project
Hi Whitney, I have been wondering what to make for a shower gift for the end of May.... I think you just solved my pondering! I'm going to make one of the wood boxes. I think I will make it the size to carry a hot casserole dish in. The fence boards should be light enough that with a hot dish it shouldn't be to heavy. And I am going to make a sign for spring flowers for a mothers day gift for my mother in love. They retired from running greenhouses. So I am going to make something with flowers and a scripture. Thank you for always being so inspiring. Also, thank you for being so honest about products you use. I know some of your video's are sponsored by Cricut and yet you say it the way it is. Thank you for you honesty! I wish you a happy mother's day too!!
I love the planter boxes! I almost bought plans to make one but yours look super easy to do! Going to make a couple for our front yard. Thank you for such precise directions! They’re beautiful ❤
OMG!!! Loved all the projects. I was on the struggle bus on what to make my mom for Mother’s Day. You gave me some many cheap and easy ideas!! Your amazing! Loved for video 😊
What fun!!! I know my husband is going to want to create the planter boxes and that will guarantee me a trip to Menards so that is my favorite because it will allow me to shop for supplies to do the others. ❤
Thank you so much for giving me the confidence I needed to start doing these projects. I already have all of the tools, and am excited to start doing cool projects, like these.❤
I love the planter boxes 😮❤Thank you for being so good at what you do! Your details and your explanations on how to make everything is just so awesome 👏 I can’t wait to give this a try, with my hubbys help of course. Lol 😂 Thank you for sharing all your creative ideas with us.
I love your wood projects and your Cricut projects so this was the best of both! I'm a teacher so I would love to try all of these this summer when I have more time :)
They are all beautiful and would make amazing gifts! They would also look amazing in my home. Thank you for sharing these! I’m a newbie. So, let the practice begin! 😂
I love all of these! I need me some of those boxes, and those planter boxes are beautiful! I live in Missouri so I totally get the weather situation. It was in the 80's earlier this week and now a freeze warning for Sunday 😔 I've seen some of Anna's stuff and she's amazing! Oh and I LOVE Lume, it's the best stuff I have found. I use it on my feet often when wearing dress shoes for work. I cover my whole foot and I don't get blisters and my don't get sweaty and stinky. Thank you for sharing these projects ❤
Loved them all going to try the planters for spring you are so talented Whitney and make everything look so easy thank you for the dimensions and you free printable have a great week ❤
We threw our planter boxes away last year and never did get them replaced. I really want to try and make yours. I think I can do it :-) Enjoyed all of them and may try to do a few of the others too. Never heard of Ana White and will have to check out her site. And as always THANK YOU for the downloads. You are such a nice person.
I love ana white! she rocks! great video and your projects look cute. I feel the need to recommend you use glue on everything you want to stay together. brad nails are only to hold stuff together until the glue dries! keep up the awesome videos!
A suggestion, if I may, if anyone is going to invest in power tools that are rechargeable try, if at all possible, to purchase the same brand name with the same volt size on the battery. That way the batteries can be interchangeable and so if one battery goes dead in the middle of a project (does it ever happen at any other time) just change it out for a fully charged one. Extra batteries are available by themselves, but to my way of thinking, if I’m going to purchase an extra battery I save a little longer and purchase the next tool on my list and the battery is included. 😊 ❤❤❤ Ana White’s builds. Thanks so much for all that you share ❤
Really love the first box and the sign. I need to get use to using power saws and create some beautiful wood pieces! Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas. Love that you also show the trouble area as. I also have so many issues with the Cricut vinyl, prefer the Oracle as well.💖💐
I enjoyed watching your tutorial but I'm not into building things of this size. No matter because I admire you 4 being able to create these projects. I love Lumi and had ordered the sample size kit 4 my 11 year old granddaughter. She unfortunately has over active sweat glands which was causing her terrible strong odors. Lumi really worked 4 her and I bought some 4 myself. I like the lavender and although I don't have any issues at my age(66) with any body odor but no matter. I use the body wash and deodorant and I love the long lasting effects. I would recommend it to others. Thanks 4 sharing your projects and my favorite I s the sign
Love these projects!! Love how you say in Illinois you never know with our weather. So true! We had tornadoes in our area last week and the Friday before 😳
Whitney, these all turned out so beautiful, I can't wait till Thursday when I have a appt where there is a Menard's about a mile away. So guess where I will be going and getting some of these fence pieces! I was so excited when you said Menards because today in the mail I received one of the 4 rebate voucher for $101.25!! 😃 My hubby thought he was gonna get the rebate check, and I said nope not this time!! 😂 I take the time to mail all the rebates we have, because my hubby and son are too lazy to do it. So I figure there wouldn't be a Renaye voucher now if I didn't send it in. But I have mailed in I believe almost another $100 bucks so I told my hubby he can have what's left out of this one and the rest because I need to get my wood to make some of those square planters you made. And get some made for a couple Hibiscus trees I put outside soon. The big pots I have them in for the last several years they get blown over and branches get broke. But I'm thinking the wood ones will be heavier than the plastic pots! So I have to get them made and then get the trees in them before May 26th because I'm having a my left hip replaced, that is unless I can convince the surgeon to let me hold off till this fall. So I find out this week the 13th if he thinks I can put it off till fall, fingers crossed 🤞🤞🙂 Thanks Whitney, for sharing these awesome DIYs with me!!! ❤❤
Great projects. I'm too big a chicken to use power tools. I think I'm too old to learn now. I should've had my Dad teach me when I was hanging around with him when I was a little girl, but girls didn't do those kinds of things when I was young. So, I say to you -- You Go Girl!!!
I agree with your comment at end about Cricut vinyl… I hate it… I always had the same problems when working with it so now I use Oracal as well. I also just used fencing wood to build my paint storage shelving for my craft room.
The green backing lines on Cricut vinyl is permanent and the grey backing lines is removeable. If you decide to use again, I hope that helps you! Also, you can go back into a project and contour just the small pieces that you need, if you have some missing ever again. However, I absolutely love your paint pen hack and all your projects turned out beautifully, especially this sign! 💖 thank you for sharing!
I love all these projects and you made them look so easy Whit. I hopped over and subscribed to Ana White, I don’t need to see her videos first, wood work is enough for me. I’m in love with using wood. I don’t have any tools as yet but I plan on getting some very soon snd im😢 going to ask my ex husband if he can show me how to use them. I think my favourite of yours was the last sign you did, it looks beautiful. I also love everything else you made too. As soon as I read wood I’m on there watching. TFS your gorgeous projects with us. I look forward to watching Ana White now and I look forward to more wood working videos from you. Have a great week.
So glad you enjoyed it! And you will LOVE the Ana White projects. I’ve been following her for years and so much of the furniture in my house is from her plans or adapted from them. She’s so talented!
Lume really does work. I've used the deodorant and it really does work three days. Hey I was injured 💁. And I've known a couple people who used the wipes after surgery (not on the incision area) . Great projects
You are so talented!! I absolutely love your channel. Not sure what I'll start with, but I'm sure I'll recreate a few of them. Thank you for sharing!! ❤❤❤
Oh my gosh. These are fabulous. We go to Menards too. We're with in a few miles of all three hardware stores but I like Menards best. Those storage boxes are beautiful also those planters look so high end. ♥️
Love all of them....this was the type of wood I covered my entire popcorn ceiling with it!
Love them all!! I just got a new table saw, a new sander and a new heat gun for my birthday!! I am one happy girl!
Nice! I want a table saw eventually!
Yay! I want to get the larger one for when I build my dining room table - glad to hear you like it!!

Tks so much
Wow that’s so great to hear!
What a great idea to use fence pickets! I loved how they all turned out. I’ll have to look into getting some. Awesome video friend! 🥰🤗
Thank you!!
So true! And thank you!

Coral is a beautiful color on you, Whit. Love everything you created in this video. The planters are my favorite.
Thank you so much! 🥰
@Whiskey & Whit you're welcome, sweet friend.
I really love all of the projects. I plan on making 3 of the crate storage boxes. I'll be making one for my son, one for a friend that just moved and, of course, one for me. 😊
Love it!
These are GREAT! Thanks for telling us the issues you ran into so we can avoid them! That's really helpful!
Definitely the planter boxes. I have been looking for planters to put in front of my front stoop and I think these would be perfect filled with flowers.
Yay!!
I could not have watched this at a better time. I just bought my very first saw and am looking for things just like you posted here.

Yes! As long as you guys love watching them, I’ll keep making them ♥️
Love the white stain too! I may attempt the sign at the end. I think it would be great in my front garden.
Great idea!! I think it would be beautiful in a garden!
Wow I love these ideas. You have given me a list of things to buy. My dad ani use to do wood projects and all when he was alive. He did all the wood cutting and helped me with assembly. such an inspiration. So thank you for making want to do all of this again.
Yay! That's so wonderful to hear, Shana! That's why I do what I do :)

I have to agree, the planters are a must! Love working with wood.
Totally agree!
Great job, Whitney, I can't keep up with you..lol. you intrigue me to do so much crafting. From your screen printing shirts to Aching glass. Now your awesome wood builds. I want to dab in it all eventually. Thanks for the videos you share. I learned a lot.
Thank you! I’m so glad to hear you learn from my videos ♥️
Love every thing! Wonderful projects. Thank you so much!
You could add some small appliance coasters/wheels to the bottom of the “Ana White” box inside the storage cube to make for easy access.
That’s genius!!

I’d love to see what you created and have more info about it!
@@DianaMaggardme too can’t wait to see

Yes! That are super easy! And Ana white’s plans are all free!! ♥️♥️
The storage box is such a great idea to replace some crappy cube storage containers that end up bending and look terrible. Will have to try! Thanks!
Totally! I think I’ll make more!
OMG!!! Loved all the projects. I was on the struggle bus on what to make my mom for Mother’s Day. You gave me some many cheap and easy ideas!! Your amazing! Loved for video 😊

You are the best at wood DIYs. Thanks for sharing. Love the planters and big sign.❤
Wow, thank you!
The sign to hang outside is by far my favorite!!!
Thanks so much! I love that one too!

I love all of these! I need me some of those boxes, and those planter boxes are beautiful! I live in Missouri so I totally get the weather situation. It was in the 80's earlier this week and now a freeze warning for Sunday 😔
I've seen some of Anna's stuff and she's amazing! Oh and I LOVE Lume, it's the best stuff I have found. I use it on my feet often when wearing dress shoes for work. I cover my whole foot and I don't get blisters and my don't get sweaty and stinky. Thank you for sharing these projects ❤
I feel you on the crazy weather! Also happy to hear you like Lume too! ♥️
Loved them all going to try the planters for spring you are so talented Whitney and make everything look so easy thank you for the dimensions and you free printable have a great week ❤

I absolutely love your wood project videos!!! Way to go!

I love ana white! she rocks! great video and your projects look cute. I feel the need to recommend you use glue on everything you want to stay together. brad nails are only to hold stuff together until the glue dries! keep up the awesome videos!
The hanging sign at the end is my favorite.
It’s become one of my faves too!
I like them all put the planters and the sign are the ones that stood out to me wish I had your talent 😅

You make everything look so easy, thanks for sharing, great ideas
You are so welcome! And thank you 🥰
I love them all but the planter boxes and the crates are my favorite! I never thought to use fence posts 😱💕
They are such a great option to save!

Really love the first box and the sign. I need to get use to using power saws and create some beautiful wood pieces! Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas. Love that you also show the trouble area as. I also have so many issues with the Cricut vinyl, prefer the Oracle as well.💖💐
One of the best things I ever did was learn how to safely use power tools. I feel so empowered being able to build things myself! Good luck!
Good afternoon Whitney and thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas

That’s awesome! You take that rebate and run, girl! 😂😂😂
I love Ana White’s website. I am thinking of making a couch for my front porch for afternoon naps.
Great idea!!
Great projects. I'm too big a chicken to use power tools. I think I'm too old to learn now. I should've had my Dad teach me when I was hanging around with him when I was a little girl, but girls didn't do those kinds of things when I was young. So, I say to you -- You Go Girl!!!
Totally get it, but I bet you could learn. I have faith in your girl ♥️♥️
I started in my 50’s .. the first thing I made was an Ana White Adirondack chair 🤣
I agree with your comment at end about Cricut vinyl… I hate it… I always had the same problems when working with it so now I use Oracal as well. I also just used fencing wood to build my paint storage shelving for my craft room.
That sounds awesome!
Thanks for the tip! I usually use permanent vinyl for stencils for better adhesion, but this one was rough 😂
@@Whiskeyandwhit welcome! Yes! I absolutely understand that. I do too! Cricut just has very strong vinyl. 😋🤗😍
All of them were great as always!
I Liked All Your DIYs, Great Work, Enjoyed your Video. Have a Great Day❤
Thank you! You too!
Lume really does work. I've used the deodorant and it really does work three days. Hey I was injured 💁. And I've known a couple people who used the wipes after surgery (not on the incision area) . Great projects
Good to know! I’ve been super happy with it’

Oh my gosh. These are fabulous. We go to Menards too. We're with in a few miles of all three hardware stores but I like Menards best. Those storage boxes are beautiful also those planters look so high end. ♥️
