I just want to say thank you. All the projects you create are fun and inspiring. Coming from Australia, I have no idea why we don't celebrate Halloween, let alone decorate for many different occasions. Love them all. My favorite candy is chocolate. Back in the day we got the big bars. I had my first hand at a jigsaw last month. My daughters friend's aunts wanted 24 inch letter monograms for their decks. I learned that cutting precise is best for less sanding. I sanded several times to get the shapes right for the cursive letters. My hand was hurting. They turned out great. Wish I had more space for other things to make.
Girl you need to go to Harbor Freight and get you an inexpensive band saw lol its a game changer. I am gonna try to make everything from this video. You have the best inspo videos. I also love that you use actual wood and not DT products all the time.
Awesome diys, Whitney, as always! I love them all! My favorites are your double layered pumpkins & your candy box! When I make my stencils, I use a small, soft paint brush, mod podge first, let it dry, then I paint. No bleedage. It's such an awesome hack!😊❤ My favorite candy bar is reeses peanut butter cups! I absolutely love using dog eared fence pickets. We never have the cedar ones at Lowe's or Home Depot, which makes no sense living here in the hot, humid Georgia coast. You can get the untreated pine pickets, but the are more narrow. Twice a year, in the City part of the town I live in, they do bulk garbage pick up. I spend hours riding through neighborhoods looking for old fence pickets and repurpose them. Can't beat the price. 😂
I love the wood pumpkins and both the signs you made. I am more of an fall apple girl and if I to choose one candy, definitely would be York Peppermint patties.

The candy container is so cute -- super idea! We have no "trick-or-treaters" where we live. But, just in case, I buy some kind of CHOCOLATE -- then we end up eating it all ourselves! So, yes, almost anything chocolate for me. None of that "kid candy" for me! The stacking pumpkins turned out adorable. Love the leopard print technique -- looks easy. Wouldn't those pumpkins be cute painted like candy corn!

I was so excited when I saw the Thumnail, and it was wood projects! I think I am going to try the coffee mug. I bought a small electric saw that fits my hand so I feel more comfortable. It even bends side to side for turns!! I need to practice with it and that mug may be a good one. Thank You for all your downloads. You truly are the most giving out of the many I watch. Keep doing them for Finn to make him smile and warm your heart. My little guy is 27!! I loved it when he was 4 and 5 years old. Have a great weekend
Hey Whitney, loving your blog!!! An alternative to the fence posts so you can stain them, is to use 1x6 boards. If there are other people like me who are allergic to cedar. Just do the 30 degree miters to emulate the fence board.
Hey Whitney if you’d put your pieces together with Kreg pocket holes then fill the holes up you could do a double sided sign. That would save on your storage space. Just a thought 😊 You’re so creative! Love all that you do❣️
These all turned out great, Whitney!! Peanut M&M's as well as the little flavored tootsie rolls are my favorite candies. I can usually pass on candy so really only eat it around Halloween. I did my first wood project this past week which was your, "And all at once, Summer collapsed into Fall." , sign. There were some mistakes with my measuring but I still love it!!
