Because as good as this match was, you can see the flaws that would never happen in top 8. Makoto has less than 10% health and you keep jumping toward her, instead of keeping her away from mid screen? That's a scrub mistake.
It was a tough hearing commentators calling 3:54 a ballsy meaty and a wacky exchange. Akuma made the correct decision, he can 100% always abuse makoto’s wakeup with meaties when she has no meter, she has no quick startup non-ex shoryu so she can’t do shit in this scenario but block. Akuma wasn’t taking a risk there in the slightest, Makoto made a mistake. That and at 6:16 them not knowing that low forward fireball super doesn’t combo without the proper timing/fireball button/distance (which is why just low forward super is probably a better low hit confirm) bothered me, seems like they don’t know this game very well
