Jack wasn't cursed the whole movie. When he was convincing Barbossa to not kill Will yet, he snuck a piece of the cursed gold for himself
Yeah, Jack was marooned on the island by his crew before the curse so didn’t get cursed with the rest of them. Then once he knew the curse was real used it to his advantage as a strategic move before it was removed from everyone.

The ride came out in the 60's (and the song was created for the ride). The movie is based on the ride. Jack Sparrow wasn't in the original ride but was added based on the character's popularity.
James Norrington isn't appreciated enough. He's a good dude.
I feel like there were two kinds of people: you had a crush on Will, or Jack. Mine was Jack lol
Jack was great, I really enjoyed his personality and everything about the character 🙂
Jack wanted the Black Pearl because he WAS the Captain for years until Barbossa, his first mate, caused a Mutiny, stranded him on that island, and stole the ship.
He only got cursed when he stole one of the coins in the cave.
Also, Lmao 🤣 when an Englishman says a word a certain way in English, which is the origin of the language you speak, they are most likely saying it correctly as intended.
The U.S. changed pronunciations, dropped or added letters, and bastardized the language over the years since they left British rule.
We did the same in Canada, though we retained a lot of the proper spelling, being part of the commonwealth longer, before severing our main ties with Britain.

Actually, the american pronunciation is closer to the original 1600’s english than the brit’s, particularly in New England. The english changed the pronunciations in the 1700 & 1800’s to make the language sound more refined. It was a class thing.

The compass leads the wearer to what they desire. So at the beginning of the movie Jack desired the Black Pearl back, and at the the end of the movie he desired something else. It will be more explained later on 😏

@@reactingafool This was sadly a spoiler, I don't like when people talk about things that have yet to be explained by the films themselves. If it wasn't in the upcoming films then i wouldn't care

Not trolling, just a fool 😅 someone else told me too. It makes sense since I think the guy that didn't say it the British way, was the guy that was not British 😂

There's a game "Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales" that came out in 2005 - rather nice. You play a pirate, change ships, get youreself a crew, trade, contraband, and make your own Pirate State
