Just saw this at HF yesterday and the Tag on it said, Buy the 5ah Battery starter kit - get the Hercules 20v variable speed grease gun for free! The battery kit was $99, but the gun alone retails for $140 and the normal price of the charger is $120!
Now I have a second grease gun that I don’t need!!!😔😞😖
That’s exactly how I bought mine! Sweet, sweet deal! Grease gun is still working great. It was a great purchase.
I just got one today. I didn't remove the plunger on my installation of grease cartridge. I unscrewed the canister and removed it from the unit. Then pulled the rod on the plunger and put it in a lock position. Then inserted the grease cartridge and screwed the cannister back on the unit. Then released the rod from the lock position. Opened the air bleed off, engaged the trigger. Once the air bleed off released the air pressure I closed the bleed off and continued to engage the trigger till grease came out the fitting on the end of the hose.
Thanks for the tips. First use I didn’t have the process down at all. :)
I should have mentioned when you replace the first grease cartridge the next time you will need to pull back the rod before you unscrew the cartridge. The new product didn't have a grease cartridge in it and the installation was mess free. To be perfectly honest on all of my other manual grease guns I make a mess before I'm finished. @@bennieaust
I just got one too. I put both ends of the strap through the loop on the top and it hangs just as you thought it should. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the tip!
