Writing another comment: Glycine was mentioned in this video. See if adding more of this in your diet will help you. I'm planning to find a supplement. If anyone has found dietary/ daily practices that help, please comment below.

I make videos now adding to the research. This is called nutrigenomics btw, the field of study. Its heavily attacked and called pseudoscience by the mainstream medical followers. Be prepared for that.😊

    • @Fightnight92
      @Fightnight92 5 лет назад +6

@Rishi Eastwood Rishi. I know exactly what you mean!!! Your life can have incredible potential, but something must be done about the negative symptoms. I have been having them very severely for the first time in my life. I was always a little bit unusual and free associated a lot and stuff, but never had the negative symptoms. Recently they are starting to get better though. Try: running (exercising) 2 miles every day, drinking enough water every day, PRESS through and do what you know you want to do even though you can't feel it, etc. Also, eat fish and other ketogenic diet foods

It's kind of hard to explain, what I now understand as, 'negative symptoms' without coming across as malingering.
I've been saying for years that I have ADHD and it's tough to explain this to people without sounding like I'm trying to use some 'get out of jail free' card for my own laziness, immaturity absent mindedness, clumsiness, messiness ... the list goes on.
This is the brain I've got and like St. Francis, I've got to accept that my actions and motives won't be understood.
I go to meetings of AA and other groups; they seem to have the same message as Viktor Frankl... learn to understand, accept and appreciate who and what you are; learn to quit beating yourself up about not being who and what you think you should be (oh Jesus, aren't I f×××ing deep?).
Stephen King says it (in so many words), do what you have to do to keep moving forward and keep your good intentions in front of you... and judge how well you're doing by how your conscience treats you.
This is going to be a constant struggle for you (all of us) against an enemy with outposts inside *your own brain*.
It's not going to be easy.
I think it was Churchill (or someone like him) who said something along the lines of...
"The cost of fighting a war is immense; the cost of losing one... *incalculable*". You get the idea.
This is your sanity, your life which is at stake. Fight for it. Every inch, every millimetre.
Good luck and do whatever it takes to not let it get the better of you.
      Yours
      PB

Hi all. I wanted to write a comment in this thread. Do take what I say with a grain of salt, as I am no expert and don't want to sound like anyone else giving unsolicited advice. I've experienced a handful of these symptoms on the daily and have no life. I came across 2 interesting things: the use of Glycine (an amino acid) in treating negative symptoms and secondly, staying away from gluten (I'm bad at this and am about to indulge in a slice of cake).
Last night, I consumed a bone broth powdered supplement with hot water and fell immensely different on a cognitive level (felt better). A glimmer of my old self in clarity. I immediately did research into any connection between Collagen (in abundance in the bone-broth powder supplement) and brain health and found the connection into glycine (found in the bone broth/ collagen?). There is research between schizophrenia and the non- essential amino acid glycine. Please look into if it may give any aid to you.
Pardon me for any intrusion, just trying to help.

any cure for negative symptoms? decreased emotional expression (decreased expression of emotions) and abulia (decreased activities carried out on their own initiative, motivated by a purpose). Other negative symptoms are alogy (reduced speech), anhedonia (decreased ability to experience pleasure), and asociality (lack of interest in social interactions)

Hey cure is kinda not the right word. These are genes that can be silenced with higher doses of certain nutrients. This field of study is called nutrigenomics. Its an emerging field.
I make videos on my channel. Not a doctor nor a professional. Just a mental health sufferer who researched like mad to help myself.

This is inappropriate there are almost no discussions from doctors that are easily searchable for relief of negative symptoms don't give the Doctor a reason to re think that.
