Nice one, thank you. They open most of their shows with this song. If you like crowd interaction, you should really check out""I livstid i krig"", in Gotenburgfrom The Great Tour, that is something else. Be sure to turn the caps because the song is in Swedish.

More Sabaton??? Yes... You should check their live performances from the same festival. "Uprising" and "40-1". The crowd is nuts there... Also "En Livstid I Krig" - live from Göteborg 2020. Amazing!!!
Thanks for that reaction. I eager to see more Sabaton here 🤘🤘🤘

Since you like crowd interaction/singing - You need to react to Blind Guardian - The Bard's Song, I'd suggest the Wacken 2016 version with both The Bard's Song and Valhalla - a more more "typical" song for them and was the closing song - but it too has a lot of crowd interaction (many BG songs do) so you could do both if you want, or split it into two reactions.
Back to Ghost Division - this was the opening act, they had some instances of mic feedback during the first two songs before the sound technician got him dialed-in, Joakim is very hard to mic for given that he runs around like a maniac! He has more energy than the Energizer Bunny!
This was from the Woodstock Poland 2012 (now renamed to Pol'and 'Rock, I "Woodstock", US threatened to sue or something) which is a free entry festival and thus tends to have very large crowds. 2012 was likely much too early for a drone camera of that quality, so those pan is either a boom mounted camera or wire-guided camera, my guess is the former based on how it moved. I'm fairly certain there's multiple cameras used, I'm guessing at least three.
I concur with the recommendations for your next Sabaton song - En Livstid i Krig (Great Tour Gothenburg), with subtitles.
Let me explain why it gets recommend it despite being in Swedish - it's from the Carolus Rex album which is available in both English and Swedish variants (only album they've done in Swedish) but while the music are close or identical the lyrics is somewhat different (but related) because, well, obviously they couldn't make it sound good otherwise. And for SOME of these songs most fans tend to prefer a specific one.
In this specific case "En Livstid i Krig" tends to win over "A Lifetime at War" by a landslide because it's SO much more impactful, it's told from the viewpoint of a Swedish Soldier not knowing if he'll ever come back home while the English is more general about the war and the struggles of the people involved (soldiers and civilians).

Dont put your subjective feelings as state of facts. Maybe you prefer Swedish version of Lifetime of war. But there are definitely people, me including, who think that the suffering of hundreds of thousands is way stronger message than thinking of one soldier.
Feel free to say that YOU think the Swedish version is better, but dont say it is better by landslide.

Joakim’s knee punch thing already makes me smile but, your initial reaction to it had me laughing my ass off 😂 Im so used to it I forget how ridiculous (& awesome) it is

Thousands of people you say? There was well over 700,000 people at this concert! If I could go back in time, this is the concert I would attend!

Saw them open for Nightwish years ago, they were fantastic! I was not familiar with them at all, what a treat!

I think it's always the same leg, too. You'd think he'd alternate. OUCH. •••• Also, I don't think many appreciate the level of commitment it takes to maintain a mohawk/winged goatee combo like Joachim's. I'm guessing the day is coming when he goes full cue-ball. ••• Thanks! PEACE!!!

Nice reaction man, I love that you are real and not fake like many others! You have a sub from me, keep on rocking,
I live 50 minutes drive from Falun where Sabaton comes from and I have friends who have worked with them, and everyone says they are unbelievable down to earth and nice guys.
And a tipp when you are reacting to sabaton You don't have to pause, they never block a video for you. They will att most leave a comment, And even add up reaction too their social media. As Pär (the bassist) did for Tank when he reacted to En livstid i krig. They support reactors verry mutch.
    Greetings from Sweden mate!

You should do a double reaction to Sabaton Uprising official music video and live video. The official music video will probably hit you as hard as Christmas Truce did and the live is just as good as this performance.

Ok, in the following order: En livstid i krig (Gothenburg concert, in Swedish but with captions) *this HAS to be your next reaction, please?*, No Bullets Fly (animated story), Devil Dogs, 82:nd all the way, Swedish Pagans, Defence of Moscow and Bismark.

Only Sabaton can get several thousand (I presume? ) Polish to sing along to a song about a german panzer division..But thats the beauty of this band. I'm swedish so I always listen with pride when I hear them, but I don't know any other band that can make you feel as patriotic for another country as for your own when they sing about poland etc

Like your unique reactions! I think Sabaton is not easily making copyright claims (or that is what I have heard).

    • @saintcynicism2654
      @saintcynicism2654 2 года назад

They usually won't unless you do something stupid like try to claim its yours or something. The only exception I'm aware of is (I *think*) Wakken stuff, since they're the ones who can copyright claim it and they're supposedly fairly trigger-happy about it. Anything else Sabaton does is safe. Pretty sure they even enjoy the reactions, given it was fairly recently they gave away tickets to a couple reactors and have sat down for at least two lengthy interview sessions with two others.

The fact that's this is the first song of the night. Singing a song about the invasion of poland. Well France but let's be honest. It's in poland. Watch both uprising and 40 to 1 from woodstock poland. You'll feel patriotic for another country

It's even funnier if you check out any of their older produced music videos, Joakim looks to be beating his right leg as though it's been bound to the floor to keep him in camera. Great reaction, keep up the gokd work.

Great reaction! 🤘 This song is opening all of their shows. Except for the Swedish Tour they're finishing off soon. The Sabaton concert I went to last Sunday, opened with "Lion from the North"😉. This year they're celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the "Carolus Rex" album. One of their best! 😊🤘 This tour is also a bit special, because of the small venues they're playing at. Looking forward to more Sabaton reactions. I highly recommend "Lion from the North" 😉 (Great Tour video).

You should react to Sabaton - En Livstid I Krig (A Liftetime of War) live at Gothenburg the song is in Swedish so you might want to put subtitles if you want to understand the lyrics of the song, it's a very emotional song from a soldier's point of the view in the 30 year long war somewhere in Europe (Idk where exactly) Trust me you will be shook by the song itself and if not the song then by the audience
