The „Przystanek Woodstock“ (because of copyright problems renamed to „Pol'and'Rock Festival“ is a gigantic summer festival (500.000 to 750.000 visitors) wich every year since 1995 tooks place in 3 day’s every August in Poland near the border to Germany. The idea of the festival is to say thank you to all the people who actively help collect donations for children's hospitals every January. It is the largest Free & Outdoor Festival in Europe. The PolAndRock Festival shows a few dozen bands from home and abroad. The main theme of the music is generally rock, but the genres represented range from folk to experimentation to metal. Reggae, electronic music and even classical music have also been featured in recent years. The bands that have performed at the Polish festival so far include, for example: Papa Roach, The Prodigy, Guano Apes, Anthrax, Enter Shikari, Kaiser Chiefs, Nigel Kennedy, Gentleman, Korpiklaani, Die Toten Hosen, Kiling Joke, The Stranglers , Beatsteaks, Machine Head, The Darkness, Ministry, Asian Dub Foundation, Anti-Flag, The Qemists, Hardcore Superstar, ThePetebox etc. In addition to the concerts on two stages, there are many other events during the festival. The Academy of Fine Arts is a place where young people meet well-known politicians, artists, journalists, musicians, actors and religious leaders like Kesang Takla - the Northern European representative of the Dalai Lama.

They are an awesome live band, but there videos are fantastic as well, with a huge production quality. My first song I watched was there official musical video release „Bismarck „, just with this song they got me. By the way, Sabaton was the band which pulled me into the Metal rabbit hole. The power of music.🤘🤘 A huge crowd in Poland singing along with a song about a WW II German tank division. Sabaton is from Sweden, most of their songs are about Military History. Lead singer Joakim Broden and bassist Par Sundstrom are the primary songwriters, and only original members left. Guitarists Chris Rorland and Thobbe Englund and drummer Robban Back are seen here. Thobbe and Robban have since left, being replace by drummer Hannes van Dahl in 2014, and guitarist Tommy Johansson in 2016. You obviously liked them. Sabaton has a list of former members far longer than their list of current members, I think their current lineup has been the most stable (unchanged for a decade) and coincides with the period that that they leaned most heavily into being history nerds, doing videos with Yarnhub and World of Warships. Please do more sabaton! They are the perfect blend of history and metal! This particular song covers Rommel and his panzer division during the invasion of poland. Apparently he went so fast during the german push around the maginot line, that he lost contact with the rest of the german army and found himself behind the french lines, to the point were he was personally forced to turn back to re-establish communications. The sheer panic and chaos his breakthrough caused to the french army propably sped up the french surrender by weeks and Rommel's tank unit earned the "Division Phantom" (ghost division) nickname due to the simple fact no one was sure were it was or what it was doing during the invasion

There's another group that I think you might like Powerwolf from Germany are also a power metal band but their subject is more on the mythology, medieval side. I think the first one the you might like is Amen and attack the official video will do.

While some ate, others washed; They were surprised outside their anti-tank and artillery to be literally run over, the survivors discover that their officers are among the casualties; Desperate, they try to take their positions in the artillery and aim, but they do not find any vehicles. Once the line is broken, they retreat, while informing the French high command that they were attacked by "spectres" and "demons" (Le Parisien 1962).

Great reaction again, I went to the show of Sabaton just two weeks after my wife past away with 3 of my four kids and it was very emotional but great! Any time idea why this was supposed to you? The drummer Jannes Van Dahl us the husband of Floor Jansen. Sabaton is great, they are a powermetalbabd with war as a subject, but no macho stories but real stories that hit you in the heart. Hi, Arias great reaction video I'm new to Sabaton myself I love the power of the music. There's another group that I think you might like Powerwolf from Germany are also a power metal band but their subject is more on the mythology, medieval side. I think the first one the you might like is Amen and attack the official video will do.

Good for you to know that Floor met the members of this Swedish metal band Sabaton through Nightwish and now she is married to the drummer of Sabaton.
I'd now suggest you the look at another Finnish band "Poets Of The Fall". The following song "Angel" is performed in "Alexander Theatre Sessions". Empty theatre and acoustic with piano and the singer/songwriter Marko Saaresto alone. His voice and vocals control are amazing and will definately pull your heartstrings.

Anyways, I think these kinda shows are a bucket-list stuff to do in your lifetime.
I've seen Sabaton and Epica once. Within Temptation twice. Nightwish, and to be fare most Finnish bands multiple times. But Middle European shows are the best. Like Wacken open Air. Also Checks have great open air concerts too. Paris was amazing. Go see the world. I encourage you to do it...

Epica, Apocalyptica and now Sabaton? You have to do "Christmas Truce" by Sabaton. Just a piece of advice, listen all the way through the credits as you already know the singer.
You have to check out some of Apocalyptica's Metallica covers as they're really well done. Don't have say anything about Epica as you're already getting the vibe.

Great reaction again, I went to the show of Sabaton just two weeks after my wife past away with 3 of my four kids and it was very emotional but great! Any time idea why this was supposed to you? The drummer Jannes Van Dahl us the husband of Floor Jansen. Sabaton is great, they are a powermetalbabd with war as a subject, but no macho stories but real stories that hit you in the heart.
