Isn’t box therapy the climb that Shawn Raboutou talked about in his video with magnus where he said that he and Brooke worked on it together and she almost sent it in the day? And this isn’t a slight, I just thought I remembered him talking about their having worked on the climb together. I’ve always said that the only reason more women haven’t sent more crazy hard climbs is simply because they don’t even try them. Once more start trying them there’s no doubt in my mind that women have the potential to be even better climbers than men, especially when you’re talking about women who are incredibly strong AND flexible. Incredible job Katie!!!!!
Neither Shawn or Brooke have sent BT so it’s all just grains of salt. Woods, Bailey, and Ruana unanimously set the bar at V16.

@@amethyst8399 I’m telling you man, flexibility and strength is a crazy combination and people forget that climbing isn’t lifting weights, nor is it a race to see who can send the fastest.
@@amethyst8399 plus, climbing is simply strength meets power meets endurance. Testosterone helps to increase bursts of power but estrogen helps to increase endurance. I watch our team teens sometimes (the older ones around 16/17) and the really good girls can run laps on steep 5.13A climbs and climb literal circles around the guys) The guys have a tendency to be better at athletic jumpy type moves on boulders but that’s really the only time I ever see the girls as not being able to keep up. Consider that climbing outdoors doesn’t have those types of moves, women who are strong and flexible can simply stay on the wall longer without getting tired and can also figure out betas that guys simply can’t do (and I heard Giuliano Cameroni and Daniel say the exact same thing so I’m not just shooting from the cuff)
