@mellow which Althea is this?! It's definitely not the 3-15-1990 Without a Net version that the description links to. I went digging through the grateful dead set databases and found no versions where Tennessee Jed was played before it (the guitar riff from 1:34 to 1:44) Though it's most likely that the guys were discussing which song to play next and Althea was picked instead of Tennessee Jed. So that was a red herring. Don't make me listen to all 272 versions to find this one.

I found the version on Spotify by just searching for the license in the description
the Tennessee Jed sounds earlier than brent, who is certainly on keys in althea, it sounded cut together

Honest question. What is the point of a spotter ? I’ve never seen a spotter actually brace someone’s fall.
Mostly to direct a fall onto the pads or away from hazards.
And to move the pads if needed.
