I had a 5500xt for about 6 hours then the HDMI port stopped working. Returned , never to go for a XFX Radeon 5500 xt again. Geforce GTX 1660 super instead.
I have the 5600XT Thicc 3 pro. It was cheaper than the thicc 2 on Amazon because Amazon charged tax on the thicc2 but not the thicc3... It runs cool, and much much faster than my old R9 3900 card. Flashed the bios immediately when I got it, installed the most recent non beta ATI drivers, and I've had zero problems. Just make sure you have the space in your case.
have the memory clocks been fixed?
@@ItssMitch someone needs to answer this question. I wanna know if you can simply overclock that memory to 3500 mhz like the puls.
These are some very slick looking GPU'S. The black and copper would look so nice on my x570 Unify, Hopefully AMD can give me a reason to replace my 1080 TI.
Where I live Pulse is more expensive than the Thicc II by quite a margine so I chose Thicc II instead and overclocked it to 1800 Mhz.
It have the XFX 5700 XT Thicc III and the card if awesome. Max temps range from 58c to 63c.
Did you experience any driver issues? I have read many owners have.
@@bocconom When I first got my card the drivers didn't see my freesync, and I'd get a black screen every once in a while. But the latest drivers seems to have fixed those issues. The card has been rock solid for the last month or so. I did experience a browser crash the other day, but I'm sure that was caused by me pushing the RAM overclock a little too far. 3600 mhz Hynix m-die does not like running at 4000 mhz @ 1.6 volts.
@@OlettaLiano Thanks much for your quick reply. I am in the process of building a new Ryzen system with a new 1440p Freesync monitor and have been researching cards. My budget at this point can't handle a 5700 XT at the moment but you've given me solid information.
@@bocconom Glad I could help. I had to get a 5700XT because I have a freesync 34" 3440x1440 @120 hz ultra wide monitor and it's not on the g sync compatibility list. My 1660ti was a good card for 1080p, but it was struggling to push 5 million pixels at the FPS, and I was getting a lot of screen tearing. It looks like the 5600XT should handle most games at 1440p so good luck, and game on!
@@OlettaLiano I can see why you needed a 5700XT! Yeah been leaning towards the 5600XT as my monitor will be 27". It's time to replace my 11 year old Samsung 1080p 60Hz which has served me well.

How good are the drivers in XFX cards & would this be better then a 1660 card?
You don't have to blame or point to XFX but to AMD if there are issues with the drivers. Just as if there are issues with the drivers of your card, don't blame the brand but nVidia.
I don't know about the version of the 5600XT. But the 5700XT drivers seem to be fixed. My Thicc III has been rock solid since the last driver update, and it would eat a 1660 for lunch and still have room for a slice of pie.
5600xt compete against a 2060, it’s way better than a 1660 super

These should be class XXX felonies. Offenses so extreme that death would be a mercy. They need outlawed and owning one should cost 10000 a month that goes to respected mental health agencies.

I have an XFX 5600 xt thicc III and I can guarantee that the benchmark about Metro Exodus is HIGHLY wrong. In Ultra quality I am around 85-95 fps, and i'm not joking about it.
My setup:
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- 16gb RAM DDR4 Corsair vengeance 3000mhz
- M2 Sabren Rocket 512gb
- XFX 5600xt thicc III Ultra
- mobo MSI x570 gaming plus

Since the release of this videos theres been a bios update that increase the memory from 12gb/s to 14. Thats probably why.
