Very well done. Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoy your videos-they're very interesting! When you build the parts, is it possible to create them in their respective positions, such as on a plane defined by the previous part? I mean to create a new part on a plane that uses reference geometries from the earlier part. This could make it easier to add the joints. A typical example of this is Fusion 360. Thanks

      Thanks.
Yes, it can be done. I have done that, it helps after a part is added into the active assembly during joint making.
I just try to keep a part as independent as it can be in FreeCAD, maybe from the fear of TNP. I know that issue is mitigated a lot, but still keeping parts independent opens up the full parametric capability even after an assembly is formed.

is it possible to design parts while building up the assembly? I mean, most things are a mix of purchased parts (with known dimensions), held together with parts that have to be shaped and dimensioned by yourself. Like an electric motor, some bearings and a shaft that I purchase. But the frame that holds those pieces together in the right place has to be designed. I imagine I draw the purchased parts, then place them in the right spot and finally design the frame in between. I have not yet found a tutorial that shows this. You all draw completely designed parts and put them together in an assembly. You never show how these were designed so that they fit together😢
