    My sister (3 years younger) has been in care facilities for 7 years. I live far away and hadn't seen her. She is now 57 years old. I saw her this week and it was heartbreaking. To be honest, I can't handle watching this video at the moment. I'm still in a bit of a shock. God bless these people and their families. 🙏❤️🇨🇦.

    My sister had Lewy Body Dementia, for 7 years. It's plax in your brain that destroys the brain cells at an accelerated level. She had hallucinations, trouble walking and talking, almost immediately.Round the clock care , diapers, etc! 4 years in her house in Ridgefield, CT, and then the ,last 3, at the assisted living facility, The Residence in Darien, CT. She was a vegetable at the end. Blessings and prayers to the family. Anything neurological, is a horror.

    I don't know, if you check his thyroid, his liver function,and autoinmune disease. Change his food to carnivore diet, avoid gluten and sugar. Magnesium, Omega 3, coconut oíl, olive oíl. Vitamin B3. Something is disconnected inside his brain, but try, don't give Up.

    • @hs964
      @hs964 12 дней назад +1

      If these things like Liver, Vit B are corrected quickly it may not move to dementia but you only have a short window. And dementia is not just caused by this only. FTD is particularly cruel as people are so young.

      @@hs964 My mother was diagnosed with FTD. They gave her quetiapine, mamantine, other antisycotics, any of them work. Because she didn't wants to drink water or eat food, doctors make her a gastreotomy.
      Fixed her needs of water and food we decide to give her chlorine dióxide, metylene blue, some herbs like lione's mane mushroom, and others.She was hipothyroid. She had urea, also diabetic. Too much metabólic diseases. We fixed them. Right now, my mother speak, walk again, she know"s Who we are. We used to have patience, mostly incontinence issue, but we have our mother with us,
      diapers can be buyed , my mother health no.

      Yes it is. We may not choose to live like this but the person can still be happy with support and love. It's the carers that suffer most.

    We treat our pets better. Assisted suicide needs to be an option for such diseases.

      Who makes these decisions? The family? To get a hold of an inheritance?

    • @catherinealexander6255
      @catherinealexander6255 4 месяца назад +13

      Part of the problem is the very high risk for abuse. This has already occurred in countries that have allowed assisted suicide for a while. And the more people choose AS, the more people will be encouraged, and eventually coerced, into doing it. That’s a terrifying prospect.

      @@catherinealexander6255Indeed. Many speak of witnessing loved ones' suffering - and that is very hard - but I have seen many people in care homes (not just elderly - all ages) who have families but those families don't visit. It's heartbreaking. Are those the ones who will take an interest if money is available when the loved one is gone?
