- Pravaig dynamics, the Indian EV startup, has finally launched its first product Defy SUV in India. It has been priced at Rs 39.5 lacs (ex-showroom). Though the product that was showcased at the launch event was pre-production. As per the company the Defy EV will get a 90.9kWh battery pack that will offer around 500kms. Thanks to its two motors (capable of churning out over 400bhp, and 620Nm), the vehicle can do 0-100kmph in less than 5 seconds, says the company.

I would be surprised if they get even one buyer. It's not about undermining Indian's startups but this car shows how serious they are. Probably they will take off with investor's money and just waiting for it to go public. Or they will collect booking amount of 1 lakh and return after 1 year after earning interest money. There's Vazirani which is hidden somewhere, Pravaig and Ola are the only startups that can deliver something but these little things in both companies makes the customers a bit worried. Hope they both emerge as good automobile companies

Not undermining our country but after seeing various launch videos, what I get is Basically it's gonna be a cheap copy of electric vehicles like the Chinese do. Big feature boastings, but cheap quality and engineering in reality. No wonder, in course of time we may find them doung Next DC Avanti like Scam.

Pretty sure the company doesn't have the funds to mass produce this car. Plus it looks like they have created this car via some Jugad. No one in their right mind is spending 39 lakh on a unknown brand with questionable build quality.

More interesting is Pravaig Veer…..frame looked solid, finishing requires humongous efforts but overall a good start. I find announcing prices is awkward, because prices are governed by international market trends and might not be same as announced when launched.

But I feel there will be some reduction in battery capacity we can expect some cost cutting here and there it might make it to the production.

This suv is at risk as production team looks confused. They are copying Range Rover at lower budget, basically first copy of Range Rover. Besides it looks very cheap in terms of quality and facilities. Hope the ultimate results be otherwise.

I don't know why but Pravaig overall looks like a joke. This whole vehicle looks like a Toy or a normal individual made dream project at best. Looking at the unfinished creases and finishes it looks like a poorly built handmade product made in a local garage. How they even agreed to showcase this car now, At this stage?? This is bad for the reputation of the company.
Make it to production first
Decent non electric brands start at 40L which are known brands, this prototype is really far behind any possible car at 40L. Also, does a person spending 40L on a car really cares that much about fuel charges is a question. Apart from 500Kms claim I think Pravaig really need to work on finishing + features. Even simple things like door handle, cup holder, door opening + closing, mirrors, car glass everything looks questionable.
Military version car looks like a cheap old car with no thinking on design like lumber in front. i thought military version will only have good suspension + battery and than it came to be almost without suspension.
