Its crazy how there are completely different riding types...I had sleds back in the day, fastest being a mid 80s Yamaha SS 440 in Indiana, you never tilted the sled, like no need, snow not deep enough to benefit... This mountain stuff looks epicly fun, looks closer related to jet ski...
deadly man ! I can't wait to see you in the backcountry slaying it..........not to be buzz kill but be careful with the teather on and kill switch active (update it's probably off) I need more of your videos.....peace!
Awesome, Steve! First time I've seen the Insta360 mounted forward of the visor like that. So, I have a question I can't seem to nail down anywhere online. I know the rear shock is different with the new skid geometry. But on the front, is there any difference from the new black KYB shocks from the bronze shocks on a '20/'21 Expert? I love the smoothness of the Kashima coated shocks on my earlier sleds, and not sure the differences. Thanks in advance!
Thanks! It’s a cool perspective for sure! The ski shocks are valved stiffer on the ‘23 expert versus previous models. I’m not sure why they went away from the kashima coating, I wonder if was a supply chain thing. I’ll ask and see if I can get an answer. In motocross, they kashima coat A Kit suspension to reduce friction, which reduces fading during long motos in the heat, maybe heat soak isn’t as big of an issue in the deep snow, but it sure looks trick!

G5 Expert looks/sounds like such an amazing sled. Looking forward to more videos!
Thank you! It’s as big of a change from going from an XM to Gen 4. They’re impressive
Excellent filming and perspective on the G5 turbo.
Thank you!
Thank you!
I have also cried myself to sleep after ripping the front end off a brand new sled!! Those tears are the worst
Haha. It is the worst, I’m learning though, I’m saving it until the snow is good!
