    What is weight of the tires alone ? Tires have weight different. Need wheel weight only.

    Hello!! I want to ask you about the Savini wheels. What (ET), (offset) installed on your BMW x7? On the front wheels. 20 or 25 offset. On the rear wheels. 30 or 35 ??? Can you help me with the choice

    • @dizump

      I never got the offset values from Savini. I told them what my vehicle was and they custom milled the wheels for me. I think you will have to contact them to see what they do or recommend for the X7. Sorry.

    factory front +32 offset
    and rear+43 offset, did u order the Savini SV-F4 wheels offset same as factory?

    • @dizump
      @dizump  5 лет назад

      You are correct on the factory offset numbers. Because the Savini's are wider the offset numbers are different to compensate, however the net result is the same. Savini custom milled the offset for the X7. I'm not sure what the final numbers were exactly. They may be able to tell you.

    Finally l find someone with Mercedes or Lambo tyre size setup. Does your car give any error with the bigger tyres? I would love to put this on my X5 G05 (325/35r22 & 285/40r22). The the spedometer will for sure be sligtly wrong but thats just like 3%. Great video, regards...

      No errors. You are in luck owning the G05. There is an auto calibration you can enter when you put the new tires on. It will require you to drive at varying speeds for 10 or 20 miles and will correct itself for the size difference. I can try to find it if you are unable to locate it in the menu. Also, one tip if you are swapping these out in your driveway....DISABLE RIDE HEIGHT! When you try to jack that thing up, the amount of wheel drop is incredible. You'll have to google this procedure. It involves something like holding down on the height switch for 30 seconds or something.

      @@dizump thanx a lot for your reply buddy, this helps me since I'm waiting to get my 22" bc forged next week so l'll go with the same tire size as you, its so sexy the thick look. I know under vehicle status, tire pressure you can select which tires you have and one of the selections is "others" so meaning not standard and l hope this is the auto calibration? What do you mean with dissable ride height? I actually was concerned about the car dropping to load height and right now its almost touching the tires so for sure it will touch on the new setup since its a bigger wheel ( my car is already sitting 1.5 inch or so lower because of the adjusted lowering links l installed). So do you mean disable load height? Regards 👍

      @@tha1soldier Yes, when you select others, it will prompt you to drive for calibration. If you put the lowering links on, you will definitely want to avoid load height, haha. Mine at stock is very close. What I was talking about is "locking out" the suspension when jacking up the vehicle. The jack points are on the frame. Since you can't jack from the lower control arm the wheels will drop as you jack from the frame. The amount of wheel drop is insane on these (like a jeep wrangler with the sway bar disconnected amount of drop). I just about maxed out my aluminum racing jack getting one wheel barely off the ground. There is a sequence of buttons you can press to lock the suspension so when you jack from the frame the tire will come up easy. I hope that makes sense.

    Mr. Solo, live in the upper Midwest so was wondering two questions with two sets of tires. I plan on putting winter tires on the OEM and switching the summer to these rims in gloss black. Does the OEM and SV-F4 have the same weight bearing maxes? Do some towing in the M50i and I live urban with Grand Canyon sized pot 🕳. Do they make the exact OEM size rims? My wife yells at me for going over 3K RPMs in this car and throwing this into a hard corner she would put me in the penalty box :( My previous car was a M5:(

      The Savini's had the same weight bearing (or I think 50lb more) than the factory wheels. I've had a year with them, hitting pot holes around Dallas, and towing as well. No issues so far. They don't make exact OEM sizes...only slightly wider. I will say that having the slightly wider track and lighter overall weight really help this vehicle in all performance aspects...which doesn't help you case, haha.

    Hey hanz can u tells me what socket size nuts fit on that wheels? My SV-F1 on the way and i wanna get the right nuts set for it thanks

      I just reused the factory ones. They get somewhat covered by the center cap. The center cap has holes which allow you to kind of see the nuts, but it must be removed to install them.

    hi, thank you for the video. perfect for what im looking for. My major concern is the stands. How's the gap on the wheel well? Yours looks great is that just stock setting height?
    Thanks again!

    • @dizump
      @dizump  5 лет назад +1

      Hello, there is no rubbing at all and the wheels sit flush with the wheel well. The gap you see in the video is with the suspension at the lowest level or setting. At the middle/standard setting, there is more gap that what is shown. Let me know if that answers your question. Thanks!

      Thanx for the reply. Lowest setting looks nice but once you start driving it will raise back to default height. Did you figure out how to lower the height setting while driving? Thanx

    • @dizump
      @dizump  5 лет назад

      @@hojojo9948 If you drive in "Sport or Sport Plus" modes it will keep the ride height lower. Leaving in the default "Comfort" mode will raise it up to the normal height.
