It's a ensare and gloom ability for free
100% up time on primary frost bite I use with cryotra and wyrm prime with its 60% firerate buff with 2100 shields from bond mod plus negate for wyrm you have a status cleanse every 5 seconds
They should have made this an exilus mod. Would've been even crazier. Also happy new year!

@@kreucify its just raw damage, and not enough anyway. Enemies have to have a ton of cold stacks for it to outperform other options

topaz shield shard also is affected by companion blast status, with artax you can keep a semi-permanent gate up AND slow

I would try this with caliban. His sentinels only repair current shield until it is broken. But with topaz shards even giving that small amount of shield will trigger their ability. In my mind it's a possible way to have an infinite regenerating shield.
Hypothetically if one had a Cryotra that did BRC it would still benefit from Violet, emerald, and orange shards??! This is huge!!
I tested on artax modded for blast, multishot, warp magazine, fast hands and a riven with more multishot, magazine size and punch through, i must say, this works wonders! paired with the arcane mentioned in the video is indeed the ultimate CC, or at least, very fun to play with. using Djin btw.

Im going to put it on Diriga Vulkokpaired to Gloom Garuda, nobody moves and everyone gets hurt.
What I found is that Shivering on just my sentinel is kinda enough, so I just slapped magnetic on my Tenet Ferrox so I can trigger Melee Vortex (which is my fave melee arcane), which has 18m pull radius (much better than 6m eh). Kinda fun, need to do some testing how it feels in mission though.

I mean i have my own set up with my diriga that proc the arc coil with cold and blast/corrosive. Its so good that enemies can't even hit you lol
From that day i always put cold on my sentinels the CC is damn god life saver because i tried to change the cold stats and let me tell you i keep getting dead 😂
Cold just make your enemies can't touch you. My diriga proc cold like crazy once i go near with my enemies due to arc coil which slow 7 enemies + helstrum probably 8 to 9 total enemies from where you are standing

Im actually using it on a Soma Incarnon together with Nova and Primary Frostbite, Works like a charm
I was telling people that this mod works on companions! So fucking synergistic. Unfortunately I like my primer Diriga and sister hound far more than the verglas cold primer. But it's still very nice to use.

Use it with citrine an mod both your primary an verglas with the shivering mod an citrinea 3rd can also proc cold an all the other status an if you put 2 green shards for corrosive stacks you can fully strip with her ability an even more frequent with the said items above modded for cold corrosive

cold + corrosive on sentinel helstum for instant max cold and corrosive stacks. have citrine apply 4 corrosive stacks with archon continuity and 2 emerald shards for full strip. archon vitality for more heat damage. summon as many specters/crew members as you can to increase the amount of beams her 3's crystal puts out. add roar and enjoy afk farming

So topaz shard are triggered by companikn blast proce also clones from duplex bond trigger shivering contagion you best sentinel weapon is cryotria or the other ice beam becuase when its a clone they only do ice but trigger shivering i use it on hildryn for her 4th when i wanna be lazy

Im sure there lots of ways to make this really strong. Im gonna keep testing but at a base level on its own you can still see its insane potential
I did a little bit of experimenting with shivering contagion, and found out how scarily effective ot was on the Convectrix. With the one mod that gives it a bonus 150% status chance without consuming ammo (Efficient Beams is the mod name) while dealing damage, and when modded correctly, it caused entire rooms and other rooms next door to be frozen over from the sheer amount of cold procs spread about. Literally insane CC potential without using abilities at all
Edit: Adding the Innate Radiation mod for the Convectrix with the Shivering Contagion literally makes it unstoppable in CC as it forces enemies to shoot each other instead, leaving them to physically be unable to shoot let alone focus on you. Makes them proxies for even more spreading of cold damage, or draw aggro away immediately too. Nutty mod

If you run deathcube prime have it use the mod with the bond mod that spreads status and it’s energy orb mod. Been playing disruption with it its like a mini gloom atp printing orbs with the verglas. My boy deathcube is the goat disruption is so unfair now he just bans the key dude to the shadowrealm and they’re perma stuck

Haven't seen the mod, does it just drop from enemies?
I only really play Wisp & before the companion rework I had to watch what I did in SP, she is powerful but a bit squishy.
Now with Helstrum modded for cold & radiation I haven't died once, even at level 200.
Add duplex bond & the clones will spread the love even further.
Don't mod cold & radiation on defense missions though.
The triangles with arms and the new assassination targets drop it but has a low drop chance iirc.
I'm glad you did the research on this for me because I have only just started looking into this. But I do have it on my verglas with a top tier riven so I like it so far.

I would like this mod if the cold statuses being applied by the mod, also had a chance to proc it again in another 6m. So if you were applying enough cold then you could slow down the entire map. I just dont think 6m is a big enough range for applying cold, since if all the enemies are within 6m then its probably because they've already been CCd.
It wouldn't even be that powerful, because since there's a max stack of 9 cold procs, then the average range would only be 18m, and the enemies at the edge of that range would only have 1 or 2 cold procs.
Hence why i have nautilus

Happened during duviri i think, along with puncture giving small crit bonus too. They buffed a few weaker status’
what exactly gets increased crit damage? any source, or just the "primers"... cause why would I care about primers crit damage numsayn
This feels more like a showcase of the mechanic than a proper build. 6 meter range isnt enough for anything beyond slash in grouped enemies to be useful but with defense stripping so accessible and moreso every update (green shards most recently) no real reason for slash or any one status type really. Its cool, but if im grouping enemies im just gonna strip and kill them with literally any weapon in the game modded with anything as this game is a joke

Arcane influence is actually better imo. If you wanna slow people down go ahead, but this arcane stuns, its on a melee so u deal insane damage while u stay in continuous movement so you take literaly no dmg cuz everyone stops moving for several seconds on every proc. and there are weird synergies as well i think with diriga you can spread electricity in an entire room and stun everyone constantly at further ranges. Arcane melee influence is much better because u just equip 1 arcane and instantly have insane cc the rest of your loadout is free.
that’s what i was thinking, the shivering contagion only spreads cold that doesn’t do as much as influence will do at the same time
Melee influence is likely to be nerfed and is behaving incorrectly with a lot of builds currently. I recognize your position. However this mods is great for stagnant camping place style, run and gun is fun but this is a good alternative.

@@northloo I think it's intended interactions are still subject to be crazy. I just think it won't extend to other CC abilities like dual ichor clouds. It'll most likely still appear during the dual ichor attack procs, which is which is where a weeping wounds build might still play a vital role in empowering the fact that gas clouds are proccing influence, is a bit too much. Personally, i believe they are allowing these interactions so they can milk content creators and those viewers attention. More builds and shit like this, more platinum and market activity. But they don't nerf things into the ground anymore. They know that deters, they'll most likely leave it no more powerful than things like the new archon shards

If you run out of energy or if you get caught lacking you will die instantly at these levels. The build is cool but not super useful in reality. Use at least 1 beam or auto weapon and make sure to have nourrish or a source of viral on a primer or something if you go for nautilus. Or just use arcane influence and do whatever you want with the rest of the build lmao
I was using nidus, and even stated the energy issue, but that wasn’t affecting my survivability. I suppose it does depend on the frame you are using. I only provided 2 examples. Video is show casing the mods potential really, wasn’t trying to make this a defacto must use build.
You should try this on shield gating build with rapid deflection, your shields will Regen to max before anything shoots you lol. Especially if you are also stacking gloom, I have a meme build that does this.

I mean diriga do this like 24/7 i can show you the combination. It can proc cold = which slow them like crazy, blast = which also cc them, corrosive = because i like armor reduction. Then equip helstrum viola you are immortal now.
With that set up every enemies go near with you are slow as hell. I mean you can literally stand still like 1 minute and no one can touch you lol
Its like an automatic mote 24/7. Doing alot of things like throwing the weapon then equipping the mod is kind of exhausted. We just want to stand still bruh and shoot 😅

Its very buggy with diriga. I did extensive testing. You put this mod on and none of diriga abilities seem to wanna work properly

Based on wiki this is a low chance from mutmur assassination only. Not gonna farm those. Sure most people were able yo play the event but i was anime betrayed by GeForce Now wait times for the whole month and only hot a few rewards from thr whole event and zero of this mod.

Bit of a waste using Shivering on a weapon config that already does what the mod does, but better...
Better off throwing it Verglas to outsource that function to your sentinel and freeing up space on the rest of your kit. Expecially with Duplex bond and all of the casting youre doing on Nidus, youll have all of the area CC you can ask for.

The way mobs move looks.... cartoony and not in a good way.
Also, it's random (which something like Melee Vortex isn't, as in, you actually trigger it yourself) and if I wanna get some headshots for incarnons or whatever, then yeah, nautilus prevents that. Fuck that mod.
