The far lands is still in Minecraft but in bedrock edition and it looks so different because it was replaced with the strip lands and beyond the strip lands is the sky grid but to reach the strip lands you have to travel 16 million block away from spawn
I shall share my knowledge with this video. A long time ago when the far lands where removed, you could go past the border and go further with the tp command to a point where everything was 2D, and if you qhent further you could only move up and down from what i know and saw, and then it got to a point where it just crashed. Thats what i know from those days.
RUclipsr Stacyplays has a series on her channel called Farlands. She actually made it all the way there in survival after, like, hundreds of episodes. Pretty impressive!
Two things. One, i remember literally spawning directly next to the farlands, and i still wonder how that was even possible to date. 2 i would love if the farlands were brought back and if you could go through them. They always give me nostalgic vibes and feel almost mysterious and dark like almost the maze in the maze runner
@Endo-02 it's a different but interesting phenomenon: At the 300k block out mark on a coordinate, you have difficulty progressing through coordinates, the difficulty starts barely noticeable and gets worse as you progress, in the sub million its like lag, by the sub 5 mil range it is highly noticeable and annoying. By a certain point, it is hard to walk farther out, eventually the ground looses all solidity, and you phase through it like air. Next, at millions out, the ground becomes a series of lines; every second row of blocks is invisible. There my be more occurrences as you travel farther, but I don't have the time or patience to manually fly hundreds of millions of blocks since teleport breaks at this piont.
@@pugorilla8848 If you fly out on both the x and Z axis eventually the lines of invisible blocks intersect causing only single blocks that aren’t invisible
I like natural invisible walls, not just 'you die mysteriously' but 'the world says no and has put up this mess to stop you' I think it would be fun if terrain generation got exponentially cooler with distance from spawn, such that there is a transition to a buffer of farlands some distance away from the world edge.
@@monarca2395 lmao!!! The bedrock farlands start to occur at x or z +/- 12,550,824. The average player walking speed is 4.317 blocks per second Meaning if you walked the entire distance on a super flat word it would take you about 34 strait days if my math is correct. And I think it is since this was the same answer found by stack exchange in 2014.
i kinda wish they would add the farlands back and maybe a new map size like “large” and it takes a while to get to the world edge. in subnautica, when you get to the world edge, it adds to the story of subnautica and there are huge creatures that kill you if you stay out there (in survival modes ofc) maybe they could have done the same with minecraft. in the farlands theres overpowered mobs that don’t even have a spawn egg, you can spawn them with commands but not anyway else.
That wo UK ld be cool like a giant snake that attacks u and anything even other monsters and probably have a large number of special monsters that open up new crafts but u cant get no spawn eggs for them and they would open up more armor designs and new weapons design it would be soo cool
This made me so emotional my whole childhood was minecraft and the garlands were everywhere and I used to play with my sister bur obv we got older and now we don't play minecraft anymore I still do I like the old minecraft better and I want it back
actually fun fact; they weren't fully removed, there's a mod that removes the border code and u can go to the far lands in the latest version the world border just stops u from being able to go to the point where the farlands start to generate
every kid remembers playing minecraft and teleporting themselves 30 million blocks away and seeing that thing where you cant move anywhere except up and down and its just like a grid world
one of my super old maps, when I converted it to a Infinite biome had this spawn in where the old border was. scaling it, at the top was the rest of the map like normal
It’s actually not computer limitations that create the weird effects of the fat lands, but a bug resulting from storing/generating locational data as floating point numbers
I am emotionally attached to farlands wen I was a kid I played Minecraft it glitched and I spawned right next to the farlands and that world was a big part of my child hood

The far lands is still in Minecraft but in bedrock edition and it looks so different because it was replaced with the strip lands and beyond the strip lands is the sky grid but to reach the strip lands you have to travel 16 million block away from spawn
Bedrock players: We dont have a boarder... we have holes in the ground
Yup
No we still have the farlands
@@PMZStudio WE DO?????????
@@legodarthvader8367 yes
@@aram-sensei does the distance of the farlands change tho
Bro the farland was the coolest thing in mc having the adventure arc
I’m pretty sure the Far-Lands still exist in Bedrock Edition
But dont you spawn at the center of the world?
@@pugorilla8848 If you fly out on both the x and Z axis eventually the lines of invisible blocks intersect causing only single blocks that aren’t invisible
I'm calling cap on this one. This comment is impossible. The farlands are a glitch.
I will love to see some type of farlands based biome in the future. Meybe in the end update?
Shattered savanna have a similar layout
I like natural invisible walls, not just 'you die mysteriously' but 'the world says no and has put up this mess to stop you'
I think it would be fun if terrain generation got exponentially cooler with distance from spawn, such that there is a transition to a buffer of farlands some distance away from the world edge.
bro imagine if a stronger and scarier type of warden spawned at the farlands, that’s would be terrifying
The farlands still exist in bedrock, with each bedrock version having different far lands! Watch IbxToycat’s video on it!
I've found it in pocket edition
@@garfcha1877 that's still bedrock edition
FERB, I KNOW WHAT WHERE DOING TODAY
@@monarca2395 lmao!!!
The bedrock farlands start to occur at x or z +/- 12,550,824.
The average player walking speed is 4.317 blocks per second
Meaning if you walked the entire distance on a super flat word it would take you about 34 strait days if my math is correct.
And I think it is since this was the same answer found by stack exchange in 2014.
@@GamerX-2000 soo imma grab a friend and this would take like 4 months since we would get distracted and have days where we couldn't
I salute to the farlands, heck they're making me talk normally and NOT in third person. Showing how much I respect the farlands.

tbh since The Far Lands were in Story Mode it would be nice to see an updated version of it without lag and new ores or smth/it could be a new "biome"
bro sounds like he's gonna explode out of laughter
i kinda wish they would add the farlands back and maybe a new map size like “large” and it takes a while to get to the world edge. in subnautica, when you get to the world edge, it adds to the story of subnautica and there are huge creatures that kill you if you stay out there (in survival modes ofc)
maybe they could have done the same with minecraft. in the farlands theres overpowered mobs that don’t even have a spawn egg, you can spawn them with commands but not anyway else.
MAYBE THATS WHERE THE GIANT ZOMBIES LIVE?????
Warden is the farlands chicken
@@zombiefried2363 actually good idea random account who’ll probably get nowhere in life
Illusioner noises grow louder
That wo UK ld be cool like a giant snake that attacks u and anything even other monsters and probably have a large number of special monsters that open up new crafts but u cant get no spawn eggs for them and they would open up more armor designs and new weapons design it would be soo cool
"The far lands" ooohh I just got chills!
This made me so emotional my whole childhood was minecraft and the garlands were everywhere and I used to play with my sister bur obv we got older and now we don't play minecraft anymore I still do I like the old minecraft better and I want it back
They should make a massive biome with the farlands generation mixed with the caves and cliffs one, to make MASSIVE farland chunks
Old farlands: AOT Wall maria
New farlands: Destroyed AOT Wall maria

lmao
So that's how the wall got wholes because of the colossal titan

TRUE
I wasn't even focused on his voice, now I noticed.
The farlands will never be forgotten
@WLT-if1de that's what your mom said when she gave birth to you Lil bro💀
actually fun fact; they weren't fully removed, there's a mod that removes the border code and u can go to the far lands in the latest version
the world border just stops u from being able to go to the point where the farlands start to generate
music: fallen down me: my reaction to that information
Bedrock still has something like the far lands, but I really would like the old far lands back and a toggle option between far lands and world border
So does the end. There's a cutoff that will take 32 hours to bridge across only to find another cutoff.
Definitely
every kid remembers playing minecraft and teleporting themselves 30 million blocks away and seeing that thing where you cant move anywhere except up and down and its just like a grid world
Him: farland stuff
His inventory: 990 glass blocks and oak planks
Him: "telling about the farlands"
"Me looking the inventory "
999 wood
It's 990- the glass is 999 💀
It's old version its normal in old version
Same
one of my super old maps, when I converted it to a Infinite biome had this spawn in where the old border was. scaling it, at the top was the rest of the map like normal
Imagine showing your bestie a screenshot of the farlands
It would be pretty cool if we'd get a rare glitched biome where it would generate a miniature version of the farlands
It’s actually not computer limitations that create the weird effects of the fat lands, but a bug resulting from storing/generating locational data as floating point numbers
I know this is a irrelevant but does anybody know the BGM

« They removed the farlands »
*laughs in the stripelands*
Would be good if they actually add far land back, so minecraft is like a place where you're trapped inside a not so infinite world
I would love to just live near the far lands. I always thought it had an eerie, yet peaceful, look to it. Sad it’s not in the game anymore and it also sucks that going too close into it causes your game to kinda kill itself 💀
