Great video, love the slow pace in these videos - no detail missed. Also, two thumbs up for the Saint Javelin t-shirt!

Thanks for taking us on the journey. You have mentioned you will be fitting the upgraded Pioneer Turbo Oil Drain hose. I've heard reports that with this fitted it is impossible to remove the spin on oil filter without loosening the oil drain hose. It would be great if you could check this out for us and report back in a future video when you get that far.

3:44 a couple of videos ago you said you dont use oogy doogys 😮😂
Jokes aside im enjoying catching up especially with the td5 engine work as im currently in the middle of a top end overhaul on my d2. Ive had mine 3 years and only found out a couple of days ago mine has an AMC head. Very happy to see that.

Came back to say thanks for the video, I don't know how you guys did it in 1-2 days, it took me four months trying to figure out how to mate the new engine to the autobox without destroying the oil pump. I ended up taking the gearbox off, and trying to fit that on the engine instead, seemed to work. The car did start on the first crank, in like 2-3 seconds! I thought those are mechanic stories.

I think at this point Nisse knows the Td5 like the back of his hand, and he did a lot of prep work plus an all-nighter in between so I'm sure there's some stuff off camera you didn't see that made it a smoother process 😄 Still not an easy thing to do though, especially if you were working solo!

@@TirsbaekTV For sure, you need ideal conditions and tools to manage solo. I couldn't afford a gearbox jack after purchasing the engine and engine hoist, so I had to ask my brother to benchpress it whilst I was securing the bolts...

What does the Titanic and a Land Rover have in common? It has the same turning circle and is just as waterproof

How much of a difference does porting the intake and exhaust make?

Is there a part number for the glowplug rail, or how can I find it? I'm also in the process of replacing my Td5. Cheers.
