I wish the charity shops would realise that eBay sellers can command their sold prices because we have access to a marketplace of millions. Your average charity shop will see a few hundred bargain hunters a week. If they price at eBay prices it’s just going to sit for months and gather dust. People are not going to pay eBay prices because they’re looking for a discovery, a story a sense of getting a good deal.
Another point that goes over charity shops heads is that it's two completely different types of buyers. Charity shops attract bargain hunters and people who respectfully don't have much disposable income. Ebay buyers, on the other hand, are buyers who are prepared to pay more as they get exactly what they want at the click of a button and get it delivered straight to their door.
@@josephsm2002 I feel like saying ‘look, no one is going to be paying you twenty five quid for those beaten up New Balance trainers with a hole in the mesh!’ 😡
Those Britains models are superb! The quality of the product really is in a league of its own, certainly without comparing it to higher end collectibles. Hopefully they bring in some strong prices for you. And yep, the charity shop head fog. Happens all too often and sometimes it can gather within one or two if seemingly everything is priced up. Not good for the hobby nor the charity!
Got a pair of 2002 OG Predators that I need to get round to selling. Only been worn twice. Pretty much mint apart from dust where they have been sitting in the back of a cupboard for 20+ years and one stone ding in one of the blades.. Seen some going for crazy money (Multiple hundreds) always a little wary of getting scammed for something that expensive though..
Love the jellycats, I know reselling is your thing but it does warm my heart that it's not all about profit for you and you pick them up for your own collection ❤
9:44 Lotus Elite & Shadow JPS (John Player's Special) racing car outfit; I had one of them back in the day! I bought it on a Sunday school trip to Butlins Pwllheli circa 1976...Happy Days :-)
I've experienced the same feeling mate you get to a point where you just want to write the day off go home refresh for another day . Nice sales and lovely items to go through in those boxes .
From the eBay rules.. Toy magnets with small pieces that can be swallowed or that may appeal to children are not allowed. They removed my listings last year twice . for games that had magnets in them@@josephsm2002
It's not ebay making the rules. It's the postal service. Check in any company what is the policy for sending 🧲 magnet. There is a specific measure for it.
@@gisellematurano259who is ever honest though when declaring that stuff at the post office? Never once had the post office, a parcel carrier or eBay ask if there’s a magnet inside a parcel 😂
Be careful when selling on behalf of someone else. Their sales are being added to your inland revenue taxable income! Remember £1000 in sales you have to declare, new rules.
@MasterofPieces Was down the Welsh Wales way wed/thurs tried my luck in many chazzers from Newport to Swansea and left almost empty handed 🤷🏾♂️ you're like a magnet for resellable tat 😆 have you listed that Amp yet?

Why aren't magnets allowed?
