Could you do a "behind the scenes" video of your sold, shipping, packing costs etc etc. Some of the stuff you buy/sell looks like a nightmare to ship. I've been selling on ebay a bit and the shipping has been the biggest problem for me. Would be great to see your process and if i can get any tips. Particularly for the awkward to ship stuff!

My own analysis suggests I get a much better roi at the charity shops probably because I'm much more picky when I've got time to think. I make more from boot sales overall but that's mostly volume.

Ian long time fan of the channel, first time commenting. I had the most amazing charity shop find today and thought of you. Transformers weekly comics from the late 80s/early 90s. They wanted 20p each! Grabbed a tenners worth as that was all I could carry. Just shows there are bargains to be had still in the charity shops

Thanks for the video, Ian. This morning at half 8, I bought the two Groggs. One of them, as you know, was damaged, but the other one looks to be in great all round condition. I cant find any information on the Mickey Skinner and I think it's quite rare. I dont know what its actually worth, but it's definitely worth more than the £60 I paid for it. Both Groggs are rarer than the standard issues because they are Grand Slam Winner Groggs. The broken Grogg, the lady gave me 50 percent discount and for £15 it's a bargain. It might be broken, but it still displays well. You should have bought them both, Ian. Never mind... they'll both find a good home.

Buying season might have ended up Cardiff mate but not down in the valleys 🤣 I'm still finding loads in the community ones as people have been clearing out lofts and garages plus items have been selling like hotcakes, Another awesome video again mate and can't wait to see you at the Cardiff Card Show in 3 weeks.

Interesting last thoughts. Remember the buying environment at a boot sale is different to a charity shop. How many times have you been at a boot sale surrounded by loads of people on the hunt on your shoulder looking at the stuff you've got in your hand or trying to rummage through the same box you're already in. So you don't have the same space and time to consider your purchases than you would in a charity shop. Sometimes you just gotta grab it before someone else does.

I've had bootsale days like that ....the dishonesty is what gets me paid £15 for a Roberts media player with remote guy said it works ....wrong remote can't get one ...tried a replacement remote off eBay had to send it back not compatible 😳😭😭😭I'd just like to hear it 😳

I can unfortunately relate to errors and just this weekend had my first real dud experience. I mainly try to buy video games to either add to the collection or trade for big wants. Hadn’t ever experienced the whole crowding round someone’s boot as they entered and ended up being involved and immediately hated it and felt anxious during the whole thing, whilst I came away with some things from it, I felt rushed to pick stuff and not even checking realised when I got home that I had a game missing from a case. Just a reminder to check over everything before purchasing. Best of luck with future boot sales!

Sorry to see the problems you encountered with this boot sale. So easy to pick things up that have issues that are not noticed at the time. Happens to us all. I had a massive fail yesterday. Locked my car keys into my car at my local boot sale and had to wait two and a half hours for a Locksmith to come out and cost me nearly £150!
