Charity shop aren't there for resellers to get rich I happily pay over the odds i feel im helping the charity Some of the resellers think they are there just to restock
@@lauriepolo4575I’m not sure anyone’s getting rich from it. Quite simple really, pay the price the charity shop are asking but if you don’t want to pay then leave it for someone else. Each charity shop will price the goods which is best for their business, some like to just clear stock through fast and have quick cash and other price high because of area and rent fees. It is a shame that some shut down because of rates they have to pay these days
Brilliant video u and Welsh pokepicker great guys to watch. Keeps me engaged within the videos. Jelly cats great find, I don't have much luck finding them ATM, haven't seen one Keep doing what your doing can't wait for the next one
Awesome pickups there Ian, I absolutely love finding items from other places/countries and you sounded well chuffed when you found that Optimus Prime action figure for the MasterShed 😂.
Some great pieces today, the genuine excitement of finding that G1 Optimus Prime, you've got to love finds like that. Another great video, keep up the great work.
Just wanted to say a quick thank you on here for accepting my offer on the mater today! I will have one very happy little nephew 😊 great new video too!
Great video as always. Some nice pick ups. I had a one of the best pick ups in ages a Transformers Bumblebee Battle Ops for 50p. I never find jellycats 👍
I can't believe it - only you could find something like that in a charity shop! PS I have a Vintage Transformers Pop Up book you can have free if you want - it needs TLC tho
Big Up Minchinhampton Common! Used to love going there when I was a kid and exploring what seemed like endless expanses of grass! I was in a state of disbelief at that Testarossa; thirty five pounds for a well used example is one of the worst examples of charity shop pricing I've ever seen. That's worth a fiver at best and you couldn't get anywhere close to £35 a mint boxed example on eBay. How are they still trading?! 🤣 Superb finds with the G1 OP though; how it's just ended up in that bag is anyone's guess. Oh, and finally; yes, why do people inform you "oh, well if you'd popped in yesterday we had loads more of those". What a way to ignite a FOMO inferno!
bloody hell Ian, raiding my local stores again!!!! I'm glad you got that copy of FFVIII in my favourite charity shop, i did leave it hoping a collector would pick it up. it was me that got the copy of Alien Resurrection 🙂. sick as a pig that i missed out on that Rugby top. you win some, you lose some.
You covered part of my round. The Emmaus is my fave around here, never fail to pick up some bargains in there. I haven't set foot in the most expensive charity shop in the world for a few years now though, one of those ones you walk straight past. I just haven't got the patience rise to that challenge! Where was the last place you visited? Didn't recognise it at all.
Unfortunately The Cotswolds are my local hunting grounds and are very expensive. Paperback books £1.50 each, Hardback £2 each. Everything is price matched to ebay listings.
Can never find jelly cats but £7 for a small second hand item is ridiculous man I wouldn't pay it had a great pick up last week army goretex waterproof boots £4 vgc selling £70/£80 boom
I love your channel but please …thrifting ? …..nooooooo that’s for the America watchers …..please use charity shopping . I’m sorry but I find it really irritating when uk channels use words to attract an American audience …they should get used to our terminology … otherwise your channel is great
Sorry to hear about your beloved FGR, Pieces. I think I messaged you on Insta about myself having a free £16 bet on them to get back-to-back relegations, way back in August. As a vegan, it felt quite a dirty bet, but I couldn't turn down the chance to return £240, which I obviously just received. Loving the recent content, by the way. One of the best around for this stuff, mate.
Another nice video... great find in the 50p box. 👍
Some cracking finds, that G1 Optimus prime being the pick. The venom/spiderman was cool too

Look at the calves on him 😅 great video 👍
Blows my mind how many jelly cats you find lol I keep an eye out for them and never see them!

No worries at all and glad it's going to a home where it'll be played with and enjoyed
manual or not, that FFVIII looks like its in great condition. seeing that 1988 APC was a blast from the past as well!
Brilliant stuff again Ian .. some fabulous finds
Cheers Colin, yeah nice mix today
Great pickups, a bit pricey but as you said nice to go somewhere different.only 10 days till sully starts.
Defo noticed it being pricier round there for sure!! Roll on sully
What was that tank? Memory unlocked. I used to have some of them as a kid don’t remember what they were called. Thanks.
Always finding those Jellycats! Great finds - love the 70's troll!
Should've got that wii, the official remotes are the money maker of the console :) nice vlog 😁👍
At £20 it's not worth it. Remotes are only worth £8-10 each.
@@timeforcoffee91 why you sell the rest for parts 👍

I love Nailsworth. My brother in law lives near there in Dursley. Have you been to the Weighbridge Inn ? Home of the 2 in 1 pie. Amazing
Always nice when you pick up a transformer
I sold that 50p Paddington’s for £8 the other day
Can't believe that charity shop priced the Burago Ferrari at £35! Found one local to me for £5 the other day!
Hi Ian, can you explain how the GSP works? Can you use it as a private seller?
Unfortunately The Cotswolds are my local hunting grounds and are very expensive. Paperback books £1.50 each, Hardback £2 each. Everything is price matched to ebay listings.
Hey, started picking up Schleich stuff to bundle
Hiya Brian, yeah I like finding schleich stuff too. First comment #winner 🏆

I’m always in Stonehouse
First time I've popped there for sourcing
You and Welsh Poke Picker always upload at the same times 😅
