You'r correct : it's a negative way to refer to the policemen AND the name of many frenche princes (they were refered as "the prince of Condé"). The most famous was the one that took part in the Fronde (an opposition between the parliment of Paris and the regent of Louis XIV, the cardinal of Mazarin).
To be accurate: the prince of Condé is a name while "condé" is a ... slang (?) made from reading right to left (arabic way) something close to "dumb idxxt". Ship herself is named based on the prince.

Either the CA or CL line has the highest DPM of its tier at T3, T5, T6, T7, T8, T10, and T11. Reduced autobounce angles on CAs so you don’t even need to switch ammo to keep doing damage. US CVs have HE bombs and rockets that pen every BB deck in the game and deal nearly the same damage as AP bomb drops because they casually drop 6 bombs instead of 3. Only nation to get access to APRM2, which is straight-up the best upgrade in the game. Also the only nation to not take an accuracy penalty for secondaries performance thanks to no ASM1. All US single 5” secondaries also randomly get GZ secondary dispersion for reasons even WG can’t explain. Not to mention the US has more OP premiums than any other country, even the Soviets.
The US don’t get the funny nut button of French ships (aside from Austin, but that ship’s not OP) or the cancerous memery of British and Soviet ships, they just get the best stats and gear because they attract the most potatoes who drag the stats down.
Everyone thought there was a Russian bias, when the French have the best stuff overall.

@@ceciletokarev3689 Bad accuracy on BBs except Slava. Basically No AA for Kremlin coz easy to destroyed for all of the AA even 1 strike from Conqek could destroy all of them. Limited DCP. Less 1 heal than any BBs. Big ships and turning circle for all surface ship so when turning really dangerous. Long ass reload for BBs. Big ass citadel for BBs, Cruisers (especially Moskva and Stalingrad) and CV. Nakhimov has 50mm on deck that any CB especially Hinden can penet her deck with HE. Short duration for radar CA and Stalingrad. Bad accuracy for Nevsky and actually petro too. Flat arc shells for Nevsky so she must play open water which no cover from island like other CL also her armor similar to Worcester (except for icebreaker) so cant tank enough.
Basically for strong weakness for Russian Ships are big ass citadel for all ship despite strong bow, not accurate gun for tech tree BBs and Cruisers also then big turning circle for all type.
Talking about French, first of all fast ships and agile. Despite all 32mm on BBs they can play HE spamming long range except Alsace to stay safe from HE spammer or 460mm+ also 22sc after upgrades for Repu that actually can overmatch 30mm that means can counter for all CA/CL except some of like napoli/petro. Massive amount of guns for Alsace and below T8 can really hurt when playing close range (yeah low calibre gun for sure) Turtleback and some space armor, maybe i forgor. Cruiser HE are nasty and luckily WG nerf Henri if not then too cancer and their maneuver also nasty. MBRB for the DD can counter any DD and not talking about their saturation gimmick. Speed Boost for all and 50+ knots for DD wtf.
Yeah French also has lot of weakness however that lot of weaknesses doesnt mean easily destroy the ships, for example like Repu 32mm all round but has 26km range that can play long HE spammer if you want and take example like Kremlin, not accurate thats need to play close meanwhile play close easily to get HE spammer that destroy you AA and lets talking with CV game too. So...... git gud
@@eiresby2344 Might also be a symptom of the meta shift. Soviet ships were dominant in the bow in era when engagements were closer and people just sat bow in. Now it’s kiting and range based where the French always have excelled.

I've seen what Yuro can do with the same ships I have. I know where the real bias is: skill.
French has always been my favorite line in Wows. Just a fun time all around, Alsace, Republique, Bourgogne, Mogador, Kleber, Marceau, Henri IV, Conde are all excellent and fun ships. Cant wait to play the Patrie, a super Bourgogne would be wack

I mean, I've not noticed as many overpens in the French Cruisers in general as one would see in their BBs

The French boats were very fun, but I found them tricky to use.
That's pretty much how they all are. The DDs are really fast but have awful conceal, the Cruisers are best when played with absolute maxed out detect for crazy reload, and the BBs are all pretty fast and have weird armor and guns. If you can't play them well then you'll barely do 50k damage (if that), but if you can master them and their quirks you get Yuro's gameplay.
@@weabootrash5891 I find French ships easy to play. BBS are fast, strong and have some punch. Cruisers do a lot of damage and are also strong if you don’t expose your citadel. Same for DDs
