The Supreme Court has ruled cops have no duty to protect, so you are wrong about the cops having a duty to protect anyone, regardless of what Texas law might say.
@@Watchdog_McCoy_5.7x28 so the cops cant be held liable for failing to keep people from harm in federal court, but they can in state courts if the state says they do have to, and also they can be charged in both courts for choke slaming a victim to the ground, so you are wrong about assuming this is about failure to protect.

Basically yelling won't make me stop and if your yelling makes any problems for me I will hurt you much worse later.
So he grabs her by the throat to protect her from domestic violence??? The stupidity is mind boggling.
"I have witnesses"? That's not RAS. She's fishing. Cops do have the right to the LIE. Truth.
He's basically saying "look what you made me do" which is exactly how a domestic abuser gaslights their victim.
Exactly! And they are still have no clue why even non criminal ppl hate the police!
It's not a coincidence that a huge amount of police are also domestic abusers.
"Why did you make me do this?" meme scene from invincible in real life
😄
She has the type of personality that literally asks for it. She begs for people to abuse her it’s her fault
"This is what happens when you don't comply". That's why channels like this are so important to educate the public and hold these rogue officers accountable.
Who arrest law enforcement the minute they act like a criminal with a badge
This is what happens when you completely disregard an individuals desire in a situation that only effects them and substitute for it the “discretion” of an officer who is automatically predisposed to distrust anyone they meet in response to a call. It was an incredibly dangerous precedent to give police unfettered power in a so called “domestic violence” situation. Taking away the rights of citizens to make their own own decisions in matters such as this is almost never beneficial to the citizen and only serves to empower the police state at our expense and to our detriment.
Rouge I beg to differ
@@dannyconti8433 What do you mean?
How would the state go about prosecuting a case of domestic violence if the alleged victim denied any assault had taken place?
Words of advice. Never answer the door if cops knock. And NEVER speak any words to them except for “I’m gonna exercise my 5th Amendment Right”, then be quite and let them do what they’re gonna do. I have personal been in a few situations where my mom said “I’m just trying to be polite” after I told her “don’t answer that, don’t answer any questions”. Long stories but I to tell her “it’s not impolite to exercise your rights, the cops should know that and if they do have a problem with it then we will deal with that afterwards. Hand him you liscense, insurance and registration and let him do his job, answer no questions”. Afterwards I explained to her that he was fishing and it made sense to her. If they had evidence of speeding they would’ve written a ticket. Not ask a million questions if you knew how fast you were going. “What you say can and WILL be used against you.”
Shocking. She even said at the beginning that the cops have a bad reputation in that area.
I live here, and they do lol

So cops thought a boyfriend choked her and to protect her they choked her and violated her body and home? Stunning and brave.
Moreover, they also told her that it was her fault because of her actions. Typical abusive boyfriend behaviours.
At least he put the cherry on top by saying it was all her fault...
Any protecting and serving going on?
@@SigmundJaehn there are certain actions worthy of an ass whooping. You cheat? That’s #1, you’re gonna be beat senseless. You go and spend all our money on clothes/accessories and put us in debt? You’re gonna get a simple smack upside the head for stupidity.
An ass whooping more often than not humbles people. People fuck up and make mistakes all the time, but there are some reasons that are 100% worth an ass whooping.
Point in case: be a moral, & loving partner and don’t fuck other people and you’ll likely not see any DV in your lifetime.
But to say there’s absolutely no reason to hit a woman is simply stupid.
In the case of this video, we don’t know what happened prior. I’d like that context before I make any decisions as to whether she deserved it or not. It’s likely she didn’t, but we do not know what truly goes on behind closed doors.
The cops taking it a step further was absolutely fucked and uncalled for though.
Straight up! She will never trust the police and rightfully so!
If you get in a fight with your spouse dont ever ever call the police unless its like a life or death situation. The very strict domestic violence laws were created with good intentions, but they’ve since morphed into an almost automatic arrest, even if you did nothing wrong.
Or don't call them for ANY reason. In my 27 years I've never called police and never will. "Call for help, you probably snitch on yourself". I can only picture one reason law enforcement would need to come to you and that's if just shot an intruder, then yeah they gotta come get the body and check up that you shot him legally.
Imagine assaulting the woman you came to protect from abuse.
After a lawsuit!!! Why does it take someone hiring a lawyer to get rid of the bad cops
Because people think cops have value.
Because corruption in the justice system goes from the top down!
She gets victimized by boyfriend then by police and people are wondering why she doesn't trust anyone!😩😤😥🐖🔥🐷💩👢👅
3 words.. Think blue Line. If your city police have this gang symbol on their person acting as an officer or painted on their car ask them to remove it if they don't. Have it removed by 1 violation of the flag act and you can sue to get it removed
I know it says 'after' in the title of the video, but he was fired/arrested in May and the lawsuit was filed in September. In this rare example, he was fired because the new sheriff didn't cover for him like the old sheriff did.
Proving, once again, that there is no situation so bad that cops can’t make worse.
Abusing sometime while trying to get to the center of abuse. It's mind blowing how stupid and avoidable this was.
They power hungry. 95% of policing is communication.
There is absolutely nothing that some MFing idiot wouldn't make worse. One of those situations is generalizing one persons doings across a group of people consisting tens of thousands people.

Even this video proves I'm right. Just one or two good players would have no damn say about how things should be regardless of their position in the force, and still this is just one of many examples where the bad actors have been reprimanded. Do you have any other false excuses for lying or is that it?
It's ironic that the police arrived under the belief that the woman was being abused, only to end up abusing her themselves. Consequently, this unfortunate woman endured two instances of violence.
The cops did THE DEFINITION of ABUSE...
Something about that job makes some officers think they always know best for citizens. Like “ma’am, it’s in your best interest that I choke slam you in order to protect you from violence. Now thank me for my service.”
Bat shit crazy
Abolish……police. Everything will settle down.
This is what happens when you give a simple minded scumbag incredible authority over other people with no o r over seeing them and practically zero consequences when they do something wrong. This guy violently assaulted a domestic violence victim. And the police department suspended him for one day then immediately gives him a promotion They act exactly how a spoiled child acts who’s parents never give them any boundaries or punishment/discipline.

It's the irony for me. It is actually embarrassing that she felt less safe dealing with them over her abuser, and then was proven right within 10 seconds of one showing up.
It's ridiculous isn't it, smh
Exactly she knew that police station is corrupt, well every police station is but there’s levels
Just imagine how it was before cameras. The police could easily lie and all the minions would all corroborate the lie. Without video nothing happens to that deputy.
As prior LE, there were no exigent circumstances that I see. As far as the cop grabbing her by the neck goes, this is unwarranted use of force! The series Live PD is no longer shown because it was full of rights violations and not constitutional! These two officers need to be fired and sued immediately IMO!
Careful telling a police officer you’re not a victim of a crime because they might make you a victim of a crime
Crazy how one structure of leadership found this dude “promotion material”, when another found his actions criminal. This broken system will only be as good as the people we put at the top.
and promoted to detective I might add, like great detective skills used there. Walks up and literally grabs her where she allegedly had marks.
I guess the flip side of that is that the new sheriff is easy better... so good on the county for ousting the old guy.

It looks like it was covered up. That's why after the other sheriff left, all this finally came to light.

Female cop: I understand, we’re not here to hurt you
Male cop: chokes her, slams her on the ground and cuffs her
Also make cop: look what you made me do…
