I didn't have fresh cranberries on hand, so I used dried mixed berries instead, but the still muffins turned out very yummy and fluffy! Thank you for specifying that the Greek Yogurt (if using instead of sour cream) had to be thick. That was very helpful! Thank you for such a yummy recipe, Tatyana!
Tatyana, I just made these, your orange cranberry muffins, this morning as a trial run for Christmas, hahaha...they are delicious!!! I had a second recipe I was also going to try, but, there's no need! These, I'm certain, hands down, would come out on top 😋. Only thing I added to the top with glaze was a few slices almonds, which I like with orange & cranberry. I have tried so many of your recipes and you never disappoint!!! And, I love how you demonstrate, give tips along the way, and are straight to the point with the task at hand. Thank you so much for all you do to help us along on our culinary adventures. Appreciate your effort. Love and hugs from granny on a beautiful ridge in West Virginia 🥰
Hi! Your comment made my morning! I'm so happy you enjoyed my muffin recipe. Adding some almonds is a great idea! Thank you so much for trusting and trying my recipes. I truly appreciate the support! Have a wonderful week!
Good Day Chef 🇺🇦🧑🍳. What a nice mid week surprise. So glad you didn't use the dried sugary cranberries. I think a cup of good Tea would go well with these. A little orange 🍊 is also nice in cranberry sauce. Have a Blessed and Beautiful Day 🇺🇸✝️🇺🇦📖✌️💞🙏🥀😘
Good morning! These were too good to wait until Friday! I'll be sharing a few recipes a week this month for the holidays. Fresh cranberries are definitely the way to go with these, and the orange zest, too! Have a great day!
It's always a treat to watch you, you're always so enthusiastic. You make me want to run to the store and buy everything to make these. Which I most definitely will be making. Cranberries are a bit tart. Can I use the dried ones instead?. Anyway thanks for sharing 😊😊😊
Thank you so much for watching! You're comment made my morning! I hope you enjoy these! I find that dried cranberries can draw all the moisture out of the batter. You can rehydrate the dried ones first in hot water for 15 minutes, then add to the recipe. You can also make these with raspberries. Enjoy!
Hi! I used regular heavy cream for the streusel. You can even use milk. It just needs something to bind the dry ingredients. I hope you enjoyed the recipe!
Flour for this recipe: 360g Also, there's a recipe on RUclips for dehydrated maple syrup cranberries. Rehydrating them in a little Grande Marnier makes these muffins next-level gourmet.
I think the ones from Costco have something a bit extra sweet on the bottom too and it's driving me nuts trying to figure out what it is. Maybe it's just an extra blop of streusel.
Mixing the baking powder and baking soda together with the flour will give you more even distribution. Plus, the orange zest tends to sink in the wet batter. By coating it in flour, it's suspended in the batter :) Hope you give these a try!
I love orange cranberry! I can’t wait to make these this weekend!
It's the best combination for this season! Have fun baking and enjoy! :)

Are these large muffins are regular size muffins?
These are jumbo sized muffins, but you can use a regular muffin pan, too. Just adjust the baking time for smaller muffins.
Is imitation vanilla okay if we don't have extract?
Yes, that will work, too. Have fun baking and enjoy!
I think the ones from Costco have something a bit extra sweet on the bottom too and it's driving me nuts trying to figure out what it is. Maybe it's just an extra blop of streusel.
Yes, that's a great guess! I think that's what it might be, too!
Why do We have to mix separately our Dry then Liquid Ingredients before adding them together?

Hope you give these a try!
