This is exactly what I'm thinking of changing my current milking setup to. Just need to be brave and do it but have my reservations

We did it and never looked back. Very easy to get onto and our Lely dealer is great to work with. The robots and running the computer are very easy I would look into them and talk to the farmer and let him show you how easy they are to run. Leyly is always there to help us if we need it.

What happens when cows are out in field and will not come into robot.
I hear of cows not coming into the robot and farmer having to go out and drive the cows into be milked.

So what if the farmer has to occasionally fetch cows to be milked? A traditional Dairy farmer would have to fetch EVERY cow twice a day, every day.

Every robot farm has ''pick up cows'', these can either be new heifers just learning the ropes or older cows with aging bodies that need to encouragement to come inside. The amount of cows that need picked up every day differs from farm to farm.
