Stephen McQuade new entrant to robotic milking webinar

Stephen McQuade farms outside of Tullamore in Co. Offaly. He was a new entrant to dairy in spring 2022, starting with 70 heifers on one Lely robot. He had excellent performance in year one with 443kg milk solids sold per cow. In year two he put in a second robot and increased to 103 cows, with another 40 heifers joining the herd. Excellent grassland management on an ABC grazing system saw the young herd sell 506kg milk solids per cow in year two.
