Hi my grand daughter is studying dance for past 6 years and going to finish arangetram also in the lockdown she made a research on your class and she is now very eager to go to the join your class will you join her
May be my Bharatnatyam style is different cause we are always told to bring the leg to touch the hip first and then outstretch the leg outwards sideways
in tattadavu vedios I have observed that the chollu remains first speed and nattuvangam goes 1-3speeds. But now in nattadavu both chollu and nattuvangam are changing speeds. Is that seen only in melattur style or just different way of practices?
Nowadays we teach all the Adavus like this - sollu in one speed and the variation of speed is shown in adavu. Originally it was It like that... this PRAARAMBHAM video was shot almost 7 years back. Recently it has been decided to releases as online tutorial as per the request from the dancers across the world. This particular change is an outcome of learning talam from our Mridangam Vidwan Sri Guru Bharadwaaj.
