As a Latina, I love when Super Junior uses this style in their songs. This is not the only time. My favorite is Lo Siento. Mamacita is really that song. I remember when it came out and I was obsessed with it for weeks.
This song is honestly one of the best songs in Kpop history, one of my favs since i've listened for the first time, almost a decade ago, and i've never get tired of this song. ✨ *MASTERPIECE* ✨
I loved, I simply loved the final observations. This is exactly what I say to these kids (after the second generation only one or two fandoms are ok) when they say that SJ is old/irrelevant, time passes for everyone. What do they want for their group, that it ends or that the members die? Because that is the only possibility of not having a 20-year career, although few have the chance (not that it will be easy) to be on par with SJ (planning the 20th anniversary party and talking about the 40th, because yes they can). But you can talk about SJ. When your group survives the seven-year curse. When your group survives the army. When your group is called Kings (not by the fans, but by the country). When your group has not stopped for even a moment. SJ has not only been around for 19 years, they have 19 years of uninterrupted work, none, NO group has achieved this feat. So, by even thinking about talking bad about SuJu, Shindong has already made it clear what you have to do: Just close your lips. Shut your tongue.
Super Junior's *Mamacita* is one of the most iconic kpop songs of all time! 👑 The whole album is a masterpiece 🔥❤️ I hope you react to their song *Black Suit* next
Love your reaction. This is my fav song too. I love the choreograph so much especially when they performed live on stage. And you made a good point about nonsense in the social media these days.
Yey!!! Suju!! thanks for reacting to SJ!! The drama version is so much fun!! SJ have their own style. As a latina myself I love when they do things like this! Even Zhoumi's song Mañana, it only has that one word, the word has nothing to do with the rest of the song, but I still find it lovely because he knows there are a lot of Latin American ELF so it's a way to acknowledge that. ELF also jokes about the age thing, because after all, they've been doing this for almost 20 years and they show no signs of stopping, how many would be able to say that about their favs? , who will also age btw!
If you like storylines, then you should watch the drama version of Super Junior's "Mamacita." The Drama version just focuses on the story and it will help you to understand what is happening in the MV. If you pay attention to the headlines on the newspaper that tells you what is happening as well. It's really funny and classic Super Junior. They are the comedic geniuses of Kpop. Yes, Shindong's English line in "Mamacita" is unfortunately another one of SuJu's tragically funny/cringy uses of English. What he says is, "Close your lips, shut your tongue." However, if they had a better grasp on English, they would have known that in English we would say something like, "close your lips, hold your tongue." LOL Or, they could have even said " ... stop your tongue, etc." (It's similar to the funny word choice they used in Super Junior's "Sexy Free and Single, " where they say "Sexy Free and Single and ready to, Bingo!" Which only sort of makes sense LOL. It would have made much more sense if they had said, "Sexy Free and Single and ready to mingle." "Mingle" would have made so much more sense in the context of the song.) Super Junior are known for their story based MVs, their catchy choreography and their goofy fun concepts. Some of their other songs with fun storylines you should check out if you haven't already are "Motorcycle" by Super Junior-D&E; "Devil," "Magic" and "No Other" by Super Junior; and Super Junior-M's "Super Girl" and "Swing". As you can see, Siwon is playing the Sheriff. Kyuhyun is playing the "gambler," but if you watch the drama version you will see he isn't just a gambler. Sungmin was playing the owner of the bank, who was robbed. Leeteuk is playing the thief. Donghae is playing the bounty hunter. Eunhyuk is playing the bullfighter. KangIn was a fruit stand owner. (Side note: As you may know, KangIn is a stage name that means strong one, so he is known for his strength and for the fact that he is a big teddy bear. Therefore, they were playing up his being a cute, clumsy bear of a man to be extra funny in this MV.) Ryeowook was playing the barber. Shindong was playing the blacksmith and Heechul was the bartender. "Mamacita" was when Super Junior had 11 members. Although, there are only 10 members in this MV. Yesung was not in "Mamacita" because he was serving in the military at this time. "Mamacita" was released in September 2014. As you may be aware, Super Junior has a very big Latin fanbase and they are one of the most popular Kpop groups in Latin America. If you look at the comments on some of Super Junior's most recent videos you will see that there are almost more comments in Spanish than any other language, including Korean. SuJu started the Latin Kpop trend in 2014 with "Mamacita," but it really didn't catch on beyond that until more recently. Now, one of SuJu's recent styles of music is Latin infused Kpop, and they have been working with famous Latin artists, collaborating to combine Korean, Spanish and English to create a perfect blend of cultures. Latin America is pretty much an untapped market for Kpop, and yet, Kpop is pretty popular in Latin countries, so Super Junior has started focusing on their Latin fans by producing songs in collaboration with Latin artists and holding press tours and concerts in Latin America, specifically for their Latin fans. Once again, they are paving the way in a new direction that had never been done before. If you haven't already, check out "Lo Siento" Ft. Leslie Grace and "One More Time" Ft. Reik to see what I mean. SuJu know what they are doing when it comes to breaking into all different music markets. They also were the first Kpop group to ever produce songs in Mandarin for their Chinese fans and the first group to have a sub-unit that focused on the Chinese market. Super Junior has done pretty much every type of music in their career -- from hard core rock with songs like "Don't Don" to cute and funny like "Cooking Cooking" by Super Junior-H. Whatever style you are in the mood for, you can find a SuJu song that fits that genre.
Thank you for your reaction to Super Junior. The next one I would like to recommend to you is Burn the Floor and 2ya2yao. Both songs are from Super Junior. You would love to hear the difference and the varieties of songs that they have.
Thank you for sharing and invite everyone to listen to and support the 2024 latest solo album of Yesung, the lead singer of SUPER JUNIOR. Yesung예성_It’s complicated_mv

Love them rallying behind SuJu because it's been hard for us fans ELFs to debunk misconceptions about SuJu for the longest time even until now.
