All Korean knows GD's birthday. 8/18/1988. 88 is GD's one of icon. 88 pronounce in Korean same meaning as fly high. The end of Power music video matches with his music video 'Untitled' ending

GD's origin is hip hop but he can write any songs in any genre. He even wrote Korean country songs for Daesung. In the interview, when GD wrote this song, he already had huge success, already young and rich but he was angry for some reason all the time at nothing in particular. He was just rebellious and that was his mental state at that time. Only GD can do this style of music in kpop idols. No one even tries.

So whatever hair style or hair color, the next idol groups will follow.

Big Bang was quickly outgrow idol status and became the rock stars. They are not your typical k pop boy band, they are the bad boys and the brat pack. The lyric or Zutter is all about them flexing bragging about them young + rich and they are freaking awesome. And no one questions. No one other k pop band can pull this off. In 2015, it was Big Bang and all the other bands. They won every awards in 2015 in Korea.

Exist album has some Experimental songs too. Dem jointz song regret it is cool. SM does not produce Western music in general. Even for aespa's house music, Older groups had been doing it way before.

This kind of music was done by Exo cbx. Even you pointed out too, what became famous after 2019. SM would be the last company to think about general public attention for music. The only company where Artists are not maming english songs. if they had cared about views and attention they would have done that way earlier. So many Exo fans want to hear english songs from them. SM literally has a signature style of music that, for them, remains true to kpop.
