The end product does look nice. I recently fitted some scientific kit I produce into a dewalt case use some of the 50mm foam. It’s ok for rectangular or round profiles but part of my kit is complex in 3D and whilst I did fit everything I’m not convinced the complex kit is “hugged” properly by the foam. The kit is made by myself as part of my small startup business and it is expensive and quite fragile so a secure fit is a must. I need to challenge you to make a nicer / tighter fit (although that shouldn’t be too hard given my first attempt). BTW, I made my own template for the dewalt case interior before I realised you make blank inserts for the cases yourself! 😅
to be fair, 3D shapes are challenging I agree, I even find some tools tricky to put in, but it's just a case of one part at a time, and refining and refining away!
@@JonaShone Those slots for fingers, specially on them bigger bottles or cans are too wide for me. Then again its my opinion. As long as the customer is happy is what it counts though.
So, change one tool and you have to remake the whole tray. Plus, it is not exactly high density. Lots of walking to get to the tool you want, and a lot of wall lost. Possibly the worst form of open storage. This is not a retail display, it is a working shop- proximity counts.
Ben Crowe was rocking one hell of a beautiful watch.
Absolutely! 👍
Awesome collab! Would love to be in one of Ben's workshops
Agree with Ben that they would look great with the Shadow Foam inserts at an angle and lit up with LED strips.
Definitely a cool idea we’ll have to do at some point!
Great vid as always … definitely like the fax max drill
So do I!
Cool stuff,
Can ya get Shadow also without the cutting kit?
Absolutely, just drop a note in the order or buy less than £60 worth at www.shadowfoam.com
Bring out the Ryobi Link box foam please!
Stay tuned! That video is coming soon!

I dont fancy those huge cutouts for those finger slots. Smaller holes, sure, but thats a massive cutout.
Not a fan of tram lines?

I got the impression he was hoping you would Shadow Foam his entire tool colection 🤣
I was getting that vibe too lol
Haha Ben knew we were only down for the day
🤔 The entire collection you say......I don't think it fits in a single building, let alone a room! 😅
