Yeah had the same in my ears. But theoretically, if nvidia would've kept the old naming scheme then we would have a Geforce 19800 GTX as highest model. ( they wenit from Geforce 9 to Geforce 100, and later from Geforce 900 to Geforce 10.) So if we keep the system of one generation per year the _"GeForce 60 60800 GTX"_ would be released circa 2086.
Not so sure about that, its a few atoms in terms of thickness so you'll probably need like 20 of these at 1 penny a piece too make a potential profit as the metals are used sparingly while producing these or not very pure at all.
WIndows 7 still works fine on Ryzen, same goes for Skylake which it also ran fine with, most motherboard manufactuerers offer a tool which makes it possibel to install a Windows 7 ISO.
I have Celeron G465 laying around. I got that thing in a prebuilt computer I bought few years ago, since I did not know how to build a computer back then and I just needed it fast when my old PC motherboard broke. I believe it's similar in performance since I was not able to run anything newer with it. Then I just lost it one day, and I upgraded to i5 2300 that I'm still using to this day.
Deals like this are nice for tech shops, where you need processors to test boards at a price that isn't a waste of money but also easily replaceable money wise in the case that the motherboard, PSU, or what have you blows it up.
Considering that we've almost reached the absolute limit with present material technology I don't imagine single thread performance is going to improve much past what we have now. Perhaps some architecture work can be done to achieve further optimization? They're going to have to do that in order to mitigate side channel attacks anyways. Deep pipelining has been a rabbit hole anyways.
The key to cheap PC's is the indication of damaged capacitors on the motherboard and replacing it. The electrolytic capacitors are the lifetime restricting components of PC hardware. Used CPUs are relativly cheap, but the motherboards are rare.
3:50 nooooooo you don't have to play at 720p when you are having a CPU Bottleneck Only the GPU has to render the Pixels, so a CPU has nothing to do with your LCDs resolution! seriously
So it's basically like a Celeron 400 series with hyperthreading... oh and for windows 10 i tried installing 1903 version on celeron 420 and It was very heavy because of amount of 'extra' apps in the background like Onedrive...try using older windows 10 or even LTSC or LTSB for these kinda systems!
Good review and Thank You! When I saw your _"new"_ one penny CPU I was reminded of my expensive(for that time) original Pentium CPU rig. It ran at 1.4ghz and I just knew I was in heaven when I started using it? I had Windows ME as the OS and it wasn't as bad as others made it out to be. FYI - the Pentium 3's got up to 1.3ghz. My oh my have times changed AND for the better in most cases(no pun intended). Even your G460 is better than my old darling Pentium? Have fun with the G460 and with ALL the deals you expose us too. Back-in-the-day we would've sold one of our children to get your setup in this video? I also prefer Windows 7, since Windows 10 harvests ALL your information even if you shut off access within the program. That last bit is from a MS insider. My next poison of choice is Linux Mint and Ubuntu. Linux IS getting to the point where they recognize more hardware. Just to be fair - Windows has the bad habit of NOT recognizing a lot of hardware too. Of course I left a Thumb Up. Praise The Lord and Godspeed to you all - Zechariah 2:8!!
ive built some crazy stuff with beautiful 1155 dell machines from the junk yard that ive only added 8 gb of ram an i5 2400 and a gtx 750 ti my current system has an i5 2500s and an hd 7870 graphics card its a nice combination if you have a powerfull powersupply for the hungry 7870
I was just listening to the audio feed and thought all this time - what the hell is the GeForce 60? Now I know it's advisable to look at the screen from time to time :D
Surely putting the settings on higher would put more stress on the GPU instead of CPU, with lower settings are you not just chucking all the weight onto the CPU? Be interesting if you could reply on your thoughts mate
I own a Pentium G2020 paired temporaly with a HD 7950 (clocked to 0.95GHz on GPU core and 1.5GHz VRAM), on dual-core era games it smash the Q6600, games optimized for quad-core systems have lots of frame-drops and average FPS are close to 30 FPS. For anyone reading, not really recommended CPU, save money and go for a Xeon E3 1220 (v1) on AliExpress, v2 is more expensive and lacks any advantage, v3+ are incompatible with LGA 1155.
they seem to be fairly similar too each other in cpu score by just 100 points the q6600 but multiple cores wins over the g2030 pentium www.cpubenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp[]=1961&cmp[]=1038 If you already got a pc with the g2030 its probably better too upgrade the cpu at the same time instead of spending money on the q6600 pc Check if the motherboard for the g2030 pc supports the socket 1155 xeon processors, then you can probably score a good deal on a used quad core xeon with 8 threads that's a bit slow in clock speed but will do fine with a gtx 1050. or a quad core xeon without hyperthreading so its like an I5 2400 or similar.
If the LGA775 plattform is alreadyaround and 8 GiB RAM are sufficient get a 45 nm Xeon Quad für LGA771. Got a X5460 running @ 4.1 and get around 450 in CB R15, playable fps in Doom, Overwatch and GTA V. As comparison: i7-960 around 490 Phenom X6 1090T around 480 i5-2500 around 470, Ryzen 1200 around 470, FX-8120 around 470. i7-860 around 460, i5-2400 around 435, Quite capable for a almost 10 year old chip.
I have this g460 processor with 4gb ram 500gb hdd According to my experience this is surely not a gaming processor in my pc I enjoy some games like igi , gta (except v and iv with around 30fps) this can be used for some low end pc games that I mentioned and u can do watch RUclips videos, Google etc. So for me as a students this is one of the best pc config. For me as I can upgrape it to a beast gaming pc adding 1070 gpu 16gb ram and i5 3470/3570 ❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Playing the games at 4K would actually be interesting, seeing how most of the strain would be put on the GPU, possibly resulting in better FPS then at 1080p
Not a very bad processor, the one that would follow that one would be the Intel G2030 series, not a bad processor either, as long as it's companied with a efficiently fast GPU (GT640 would lag GTA V after a while of gaming, for example).
I've got a non soldered i3 2330m. So basically a socketed Notebook cpu. Could i may send it to you for comparison of mobile and Desktop besode cooling (like you could cool the i3 m in a normal Desktop)
Does an inconsistent frame rate generally signify a CPU bottleneck? I've got a 4GB RX560 paired with a Xeon W3530 (which is basiclly the same as a stock i7 930). This combination performs very well in every game I've played, except in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. I get a solid 60fps in most of the game play but get huge stutters in certain sections when spaceships are crashing and so forth. I followed your guide to use MSI Afterburner OSD and found the CPU/GPU utilisation jumped all over the place! I'm not sure how to interpenetrate the results :/ any ideas?? :)
Yeah i've heard there not great! its not exactly the most graphically intense game my computer runs. I can run Crysis 3 and The Division with reasonable settings without any issues. in both games the GPU is the bottleneck, but CPU's for my system are fairly cheap so i was wondering if a £40-50 CPU upgrade would fix the issue. having a better CPU cant be a bad thing in any case!
Yeah its decent but its only runs at 2.8ghz with a boost just under 3ghz. Its in a Dell workstation so i can't overclock. The 45nm chips go upto 3.33Ghz with a 3.6Ghz boost but i would be worried about the temps! But Intel did a range of Westmere 32nm chips on the X58 platform that run a lot cooler with greatly improved single threaded performance! there mostly Hex core chips and can be quite expensive but there is a chip called an X5687 which is a Quad core with hyper threading that runs at 3.6Ghz with a 3.9GHZ boost. There half the price of the Hex core chips because there not as useful for workstation tasks as the Hex core chips but there better for gaming!! That is my current upgrade plan, ill probably cable tie an extra fan to the back of the heat sink to help with the temps though but its 130watt tdp so it should be fine i hope. i checked and my motherboard is compatible through a bios update (which ive already done)
Haha, your pairing reminded me about one of my Steam friends who has a 1070 paired with a Celeron G1840 because her boyfriend bought a mining rig instead of a gaming PC :D
Can you put the link of the seller you bough it from in the description? And for next videos the link of item you are showing if there are more available Thanks a lot
I was trying to install Windows 7 on my Skylake gaming rig and it was disaster... At the start of the setup I got a driver error when I fixed that I got a random Hard Disk error and when the installation of the Windows finished I got an another error which said It could not boot into the next phase of installation. I tried the "Msoobe" fix but I got an error that said it was not recognized or something. If someone knows how to fix it please contact me. Thanks! For now I have to stick with Windows 10...
Why do you set everything to low ? If you have such cpu like this isnt it better to increase the graphical settings to the highest because it would increase the gpu usage ?
something like a gt 730 should be a good pick that does lighter gaming too if you want to play some older games like gta vice city, gta 3, call of duty series up too black ops should work.
Why does this cpu perform bad with windows 10? I have one old laptop, which has 1 core 1 thread celeron 743 cpu clocked at 1.3 Ghz with 2 gb of ram, and it performs the same in windows 7 and 10. It runs windows 10 now, and works okay, no difference between experience at all
hey everyone , about a year ago my dad bought me a laptop , the specs are . intel core i5 4300m intel hd4600 8gb ddr3 ram (two of wich are used or the integrated graphics ) 90mb/s hdd . I use it for gaming while saving for a better pc , I mainly play 7 days to die , I have a problem that somtimes I get smooth 35fps on 720p and other times I can barly get 24fps on 480p . I don't have any heat problems . anyway I can solve it ?
random person: Have you tried re applying thermal compound, sometimes the thermal compound provided isn't as good. You can also check if it's power throttling. I recommend getting Intel XTU and running a stress test, it will tell you the information you need. For instance if it flashes with power limit throttling, you may have to look into undervolting. I have a fairly improved version of your laptop and I still struggle to get 30fps on 720p. Also if that doesn't help, you can look into a RUclipsr called LowSpecGamer, he may have a video on lowering the game quality to improve performance.
id like a video showing the cheapest build that will reliably max out most games at 60fps or indeed the cheapest that will get 60 fps on low, for most games etc
he did but its at 2 ghz which is a bit faster & that was also nearly 5 months ago & he recommended it as a last resort option for a bottom end pc that like surfs the web & lighter games or very old games like gta III,san andreas need for speed carbon etc...
Can you test the qx6850 please as I'm looking to upgrade my x6800 and I like the old 775 mobo p.s I'm running the asus hd 7770 v2 and win 8.1 with 2gig ram I know it ain't much but as I'm using the asus p5vd2mx se it's the most I could upgrade it I'm upgrading to asus p5q e with 16gig ram and wondering witch cpu to get. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work
Bear in mind M$ are ceasing their support for Windows 7 towards the end of the year, so you'd be better off running Linix mint and having react OS as a secondary OS if you need that Windows app support
The thing with the CSGO benchmark is that when you play against bots it tends to lag more than with a online game due to the bots putting more load on the CPU, and I know becuase that used to happen to me when I used to play on a AMD A10
I picked up an e8400 for 5$ on eBay, OCd it to 3.9, and cinebench gave me 109 single, and 215 multi. It's hyperthreaded multicore is even worst than one core on a duo from 2008 :')
I have to correct this, the amount a performance lost to graphics settings in a severely cpu limited senarion is next to 0, the limiting factor is the couch getting loaded with physics and the like and not having the time to put out draw calls, you could play the game at 4k ultra and I bet the performance will barely drop
I actually have the pentium version of this processor. cost me $8 bucks, great for general media consumption and a hell of a lot better than the celeron
Word of advice, when recording voice over. Turn your head when you go to take a breath so it's not audible, or as audible in your take. Also when you're making cuts be sure to either include the entire breath or cut it out instead of chopping it in half. Keep up the good work.
G460 Cinebench Score = 77
Cost = £0.01
Intel 8700k Cinebench score = 1300
Cost = £300
Just buy 3000 G460s instead, and you'll get a performance of 231000.
Ned Reid you cant find a mobo that enables that, plus 3000 cores is very unoptimized. Good joke tho
For £300 you can buy 30000 of them and get 2310000
CHICKEN GOD pretty sure you can stacked them
Thanks bro I work out
Xeon X5460 Cinebench Score = 450
Price: = 40€
Pentium 4 HT 631 Cinebench Score = 60
Price = 1 €
Celeron 440 Cinebench Score = 53
Price = 1,50 €
Best price to performance on earth lol
was thinking the same thing
Agreed but I got a dc2 for free with $30 mb s775
omg lmao so funny :)
palmfire got more likes lol
Yeah but palmfire is bad.
4:16 "local farmer dies in horrific car crash due to stutter"😂😂

RandomGaminginHD did you just create a new procesor
Haha oh yeah
ikr
quick edit the original comment to make it look really funny
Okay, where is your top secret processor factory? I bet you are secretly working together with AMD and Intel. Just kidding, lol.
Yeah had the same in my ears.

1 penny is just insane
By just recycling the metals in the cpu, it will yield more money than it costs.

RandomGaminginHD should collab with LowSpecGamer. It will be interesting.
dryphtyr yeah lol
4:49 the pc got ptsd and couldnt start skyrim after that LOL
I'm still upset that Ryzen, Intel, AND gaming in general forced everyone to move to Win 10. Man I miss Win 7...
M$ is to blame on that one... AMD/Intel don't write the code for Windows, that would be M$.
WIndows 7 still works fine on Ryzen, same goes for Skylake which it also ran fine with, most motherboard manufactuerers offer a tool which makes it possibel to install a Windows 7 ISO.
Chris Ayres Window 10 is the last version of Window . So don't expect any Window 11 , 12 .....
You should have played all games at 4k max.
The CPU turns the game into a slide show, but that would be at least a pretty slide show.
Really though, according to LinusTechTips a 2500k is enough for 4k, which is kind of trash compared to modern ones.
your videos are some of the most entertaining videos ive watched. Obviously I'm a nerd but never the less , super into what you do..
Where's the Dyson Cyclone V10 review?!?!?!?!?

I can't help to giggle as well everytime you do. This CPU and GPU combination is truly ridiculous. xD
2 hrs ago i was checkin the channel to see if you uploaded somthin that youtube missed but glad to see that you uploaded a new vid :)
God this just shows how far CPUs have come to this day! Imagine what the future holds!
Considering that we've almost reached the absolute limit with present material technology I don't imagine single thread performance is going to improve much past what we have now. Perhaps some architecture work can be done to achieve further optimization? They're going to have to do that in order to mitigate side channel attacks anyways. Have you heard the tragedy of Dave the Seagull, it’s not a bird RGIHD would show you.

you can increase resolution ,it doesnt affect cpu performance.

Can you do a Ryzen 2400g review? Would be a good roundup with its Igpu against may of those cheap gpus.
I love these super budget and scam videos. :)
Yay I missed these types of videos
Just buy a raspberry pi zero for your web browsing
I can get a used PC for cheaper.
Surely putting the settings on higher would put more stress on the GPU instead of CPU, with lower settings are you not just chucking all the weight onto the CPU? Be interesting if you could reply on your thoughts mate

Check if the motherboard for the g2030 pc supports the socket 1155 xeon processors, then you can probably score a good deal on a used quad core xeon with 8 threads that's a bit slow in clock speed but will do fine with a gtx 1050. or a quad core xeon without hyperthreading so its like an I5 2400 or similar.

Why you didnt install the latest WIndows 7 Updates ? Maybe it can be better for the Performence.
i'm surprised you even managed to get to the intro gameplay of battlefield 1...you didn't only test the cpu but even your patience
Nice video RG. still considering a cloud gaming video in the future?
Sinbad absolutely. Just checking out the options
RandomGaminginHD I will love to suggest Liquid Sky. I've been using it for a month and absoultly in love. Its cheap and also works well on my craptop

I recently returned to Windows 7 as well, and also forgot how nice it is to use.
I bought one for 7$ here in the states, why are computer parts so cheap in the UK?
Love your bottleneck ideas.
Not a very bad processor, the one that would follow that one would be the Intel G2030 series, not a bad processor either, as long as it's companied with a efficiently fast GPU (GT640 would lag GTA V after a while of gaming, for example).
Fun idea: bid on some old workstation cards like a few generations back quadros and radeon pro. Might be some meat on them bones for a good price.
I'd like to see you test the most powerful core 2 cpu vs a modern processor, like your ryzen.
I've got a non soldered i3 2330m. So basically a socketed Notebook cpu. Could i may send it to you for comparison of mobile and Desktop besode cooling (like you could cool the i3 m in a normal Desktop)
I doubt that you'd see any performance improvement from low spec mods, as textures and shadows are only using the GPU.
Does an inconsistent frame rate generally signify a CPU bottleneck? I've got a 4GB RX560 paired with a Xeon W3530 (which is basiclly the same as a stock i7 930). When the 1 penny CPU is more powerful than your own £700 laptop with better specs
hahahah #loser
laptops suck compared to gaming desktops, they are for mobility hence that awful price to performance ratio.
for $1000 you can buy dell inspiron 7000 with i7, 8gigs and gtx 1050
@@PrzeszczepiX I could make that for half the price

This is a CPU Benchmark.
my Pentium dual core runs windows 10 fine, but stutter on 1080p video streaming. should I buy a GPU, because it still has gma onboard graphics?
Buy a low profile video card, it should do good enough for youtube playback.
something like a gt 730 should be a good pick that does lighter gaming too if you want to play some older games like gta vice city, gta 3, call of duty series up too black ops should work.
Will gt 1030 bottleneck the cpu?
Hi, please can you tell me which program do you use to know the number of frames per second?
Can you try the intel xeon w3565 on ali express it is around $10 and wonder if it would be great for gaming
Why does this cpu perform bad with windows 10? I have one old laptop, which has 1 core 1 thread celeron 743 cpu clocked at 1.3 Ghz with 2 gb of ram, and it performs the same in windows 7 and 10. It runs windows 10 now, and works okay, no difference between experience at all
hey everyone , about a year ago my dad bought me a laptop , the specs are .
intel core i5 4300m
intel hd4600
8gb ddr3 ram (two of wich are used or the integrated graphics )
90mb/s hdd .
+Ozbourne Inside ok thanks I will try !!
id like a video showing the cheapest build that will reliably max out most games at 60fps
or indeed the cheapest that will get 60 fps on low, for most games etc
Wait...didnt you make a video and recommended the Celeron G470?
he did but its at 2 ghz which is a bit faster & that was also nearly 5 months ago & he recommended it as a last resort option for a bottom end pc that like surfs the web & lighter games or very old games like gta III,san andreas need for speed carbon etc...
Marcus60661 still..he acts Like He has never used a Sandy Bridge Celeron
Can you test the qx6850 please as I'm looking to upgrade my x6800 and I like the old 775 mobo p.s I'm running the asus hd 7770 v2 and win 8.1 with 2gig ram I know it ain't much but as I'm using the asus p5vd2mx se it's the most I could upgrade it I'm upgrading to asus p5q e with 16gig ram and wondering witch cpu to get. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work
Bear in mind M$ are ceasing their support for Windows 7 towards the end of the year, so you'd be better off running Linix mint and having react OS as a secondary OS if you need that Windows app support
add a 5 between the g4 and the 60 and what do you have? a g4560
The thing with the CSGO benchmark is that when you play against bots it tends to lag more than with a online game due to the bots putting more load on the CPU, and I know becuase that used to happen to me when I used to play on a AMD A10
Do you have to mock my Intel Celeron Dual-Core that's 1.9GHz with Windows XP?
lin xu yes
can you do a video of a GTX 580 in SLI with a budget i5 750
You probably wont read this but can you make a video on the pcsx2 emulator on maybe an old core 2 quad and a gtx 750 ti
I picked up an e8400 for 5$ on eBay, OCd it to 3.9, and cinebench gave me 109 single, and 215 multi. It's hyperthreaded multicore is even worst than one core on a duo from 2008 :')
So this weak ass processor is worse than a Pentium D processor? Lmao😂😆😁
Not sure about that, but it certainly wouldn't be that different in gaming I reckon. I feel a comparison coming on haha
RandomGaminginHD hell yeah
The E5400 is pretty much better than the Celeron G460...
That Celeron has the exact same performance with the Celeron laptop processors, I think.
Thomas Wepfer which Pentium d?
Thomas Wepfer alright, but remember that Pentium D is the first dual core processor from Intel.
I have to correct this, the amount a performance lost to graphics settings in a severely cpu limited senarion is next to 0, the limiting factor is the couch getting loaded with physics and the like and not having the time to put out draw calls, you could play the game at 4k ultra and I bet the performance will barely drop
wooow. I didn't realize it was a SINGLE CORE, I was considering it since it was LGA1155, I though I could I upgrade it later. lucky I didn't go for it
I actually have the pentium version of this processor. cost me $8 bucks, great for general media consumption and a hell of a lot better than the celeron
About 19 more than i expected. This killed me. 😀😀
Does someone know how to get the .1 and 1 percent lows? I followed his vid but i haven't managed to get them to work :/
But you're a tech channel, where is the sponsored vacuum cleaner video?
DDR4 Gaming shills
how do you play san andreas at 60fps without the physics glitching out?
Could you do a video on r9 380 vs 1050 ti?
Lol just got a 1155 Mobo for $5 with bent pins might have to get one of these to make sure my careful proding worked.
What program do you use to monitor FPS, CPU and GPU?
Hello there... I have the same g460... And i play cuphead with low res on 60fps, not gpu
I loved w7 but it kept bsod and having issues on me
Word of advice, when recording voice over. Turn your head when you go to take a breath so it's not audible, or as audible in your take. Also when you're making cuts be sure to either include the entire breath or cut it out instead of chopping it in half. Keep up the good work.
my oc'd macbook from late 2008 gets 115 in cinebench 15
So an that the expirience was more stuttery with a newer gpu, intresting
What do you use to see the cpu and gpu usage
Im curios how it works in 2k or 4k with that 1070
