Check out Star Citizen once Alpha 3.23 drops. Currently, its not a very friendly game to beginners, or anyone for that matter. 3.23 is a massive overhaul patch that will bring a ton of changes to gameplay flow, and QOL. Will be really worth a look once that lands.
yes do do star citizen it is pretty good, in may there is a free fly if you don't want to buy it it is going to be free. also there will big a huge big change that is coming pretty soon that changes everything ( well not every thing just like the UI but the UI right now is not going to suger coat it it's shite so if you do check it out now do revisite it they are adding a new system like either next or end of this year I'm pretty sure can't remember on the top of my head).
As a SC backer and huge supporter. I am looking forward to this game. No reason to stick to just one space game there is plenty of room. I hope we keep getting space games i think there is still a huge void. This one looks awesome and so far I am innnnn.

With my experience on Star Citizen I would definitely recommend to check it out during a free-fly, Of which one will be coming end of may with Invictus Launch Week, But it is definitely a interesting game where you can have some very unique experiences with the players, and nowadays its far more playable with more gameplay loops fleshed out then it used to be while they are not all fleshed out it at least means you have more things to do.
The problem with free fly's, especially for reviewers, is that during those times the servers are a bit overloaded with free players and the game performance is less that what it typically is. The bugs and hiccups you would normally face due to it being an alpha get amplified. Best use of the free fly events is to check if your PC can handle the game. Otherwise it's only like $45 to buy it and try it out at any other time.
@@Finraen Oh yes very much correct, But i still stand on the point and recommend people to actually play the game during a free fly main reason being. This is the game when the servers are the worst which for reviewers I can agree doesn't look the best, but it gives them the chance to come into the game when its in a more buggy state and see if they can actually enjoy the game with the more problematic bugs, because regardless depending on the server you get when there is no free fly you can still get some major bugs. But Like I said I agree with what your saying here i just feel that is still good to play during a free fly because you get to see the bugs and know what your getting into and what you may encounter after the free fly ends.
You can't be a serious space game reviewer and not have checked out Star Citizen. The scale of the overall experience is greater than all previous MMOs AND all space games - not because it's playable area of space is the largest, but because of the level of detail, realism, and fidelity combined with the solar-system scale... with zero loading screens. The insane detail won't even be fully apparent to you when you initially play it. And there are so many enhancements that are actively being worked on. I recommend watching some of the "Inside Star Citizen" developer episodes on their RUclips channel before playing it. They are short and very well produced, and released literally every week for the last 3-4 years. Star Citizen is IMO the most revolutionary game in decades... and may end up being one of the most influential games of all time (coming from an 80s kid). It has already made gaming history in a way that will change multiplayer gaming forever (dynamic server meshing - check), most people just aren't aware of it yet. CIG has proven they have what it takes to deliver a game *at some point*, so it's only a matter of time. It will also have Squadron 42 - the single player version - available in a year or two most likely. It's a sim though, and has all of the difficult learning curves that most sims have. Your first hours are going to involve making baby steps of progress in learning how things work and what controls do what. But those first hours will visually and experientially blow your mind.
Star Citizen is still a buggy mess. They are making progress but that's to be expected after 14 years. Still in alpha so a long way before it really matters.
I've been following Star Citizen for a while and have played it on and off. My expectations for the Persistent Universe being a smooth playing experience are a ways off. I think realistically Squadron 42 - which may be only a year or two away - will be at least a AAA+ quality release and may be more playable on release than typical large studio games like Starfield are because of how long they've had to work on it and because of the PU being a testing bed for features all along the way.

Star Field has nothing in common with Star Citizen, except space in name and space as the theme.

Star Citizen is the best game I have ever played because it continues to grow and has SO MUCH potential and more features than most finished games lol
What do you want to know about SC? I'm an original backer and am well-versed in the development and lore of the game.

Yeah iv done a bit of research and I'm seeing a mix of good and bad so far. I might just wait until the end of may 🤔
