We're glad you liked the project! The TY-01-25 is rated to handle a dynamic load of 135 lbs. Since the lift is mounted towards the mid point of the raising shelf platform, the ideal scenario is to have the applied load as balanced as possible by evenly distributing the weight on the shelf as best you can. For heavier loads we recommend considering a system with 2 hall effect actuators that travel in synchronous motion.

How does this work if the weight is off center? Does it rub on the heavy or light side? What is the max weight the lift will hold? Beautiful job!
