Ive owned this for only a week and it makes the roborocks and dreams look like they have a long way to go programming and navigation wise
Seeing this kickstarter project in reality makes me jealous that the Migo Ascender didn’t work out. (The stair climbing bot). I backed it for $800. And while they blew their goals out of the water, they realized they need much more time, money, and staffing to make it realistic on a mass production scale. It was a sad day. So I suppose it is good to see that at least one kickstarter vacbot made it this far.
This is Eufy, and was already 2 year in development before launching on Kickstarter. I don't think there was ever a chance of this not making it to market.
While there are uses with a few issues in this first batch (mine included), ultimately this is a fantastic bit of kit.

I'm waiting for a great video review about this robovac. They say it is the nex gen robovac. It should be way superior than any other robovac you already tested.

Is the dirty water box in the vacuum after docking is really still dirty ? Is it noisy and wheel is squeaky after 30 mn like people say?
I have an S1 so I can answer your questions. After it empties the onboard dirty water tank there’s a very tiny amount of water left over, but this isn’t causing any problems with smell so far. The ozone generator in the water seems to be really effective at killing bacteria because after 5 days of letting it sit there, the dirty water had zero nasty smell.
I do have a squeaky wheel on mine, but Eufy has said they are going to send out replacement wheels. Overall, I am absolutely loving this thing. My floors have never felt this clean even with my old Q Revo. The mopping performance is incredible.
the water tank looks small.
I just dont see how it could beat the Dreame X40 or the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. Eufy's app has never been great. This one has no extendable side spinners and even though the mop is really wide it does not extend to the baseboards so a small area will remain uncleaned. It just feels like all the reaserch and development lead them back to the same place. I dont see anything revolutionary. Just more of the same.
