- I see a lot of people liking these spinner toys. And I am no exception :)
I have not seen a bearing in a bearing spinner so I had to make one. Its easy to make your own as well! Hope you enjoy.
You can get these bearings by searching amazon or ebay for example. You may find cheaper ones depending where you live.

and when they let go at that speed, its like buckshot. spinning it up in your hand makes me cringe.
It's beautiful how Conservation of Angular Momentum can be utilised to create amazing items and its dynamics... Nice application!

Just a little tip for you,
place the bearing you would like to fit inside another bearing into liquid nitrogen for around 5 minutes. This reduces the size of the bearings, therefore making it easier for you to place one, inside another. To get it back to its original size, Just wait for some minutes and youre good. submerge it into hot water for 5 minutes (will speed up the process )
Other than that, it was a pretty interesting video!
To all the people asking about where to get these bearings : I called the local company that sold me these
because the 9x17 and 4x9 dont have any markings on them. They told me its a noname brand from germany and they are not willing to reveal the company that supplies these bearings.
I can however give you more info on the 3 larger bearings:
55x90 ELW ZZ 1109
30x55 ELW
17x30 SKF 61903/C3 JP 313N
Also I need to correct myself. The biggest bearing is 55x90 not 55x95 like in the video.
They're standard metric sizes - 4x9 is a 684, 9x17 is a 689. Most bearing factors should be able to get them next day. Also a 30x55 is a 6006. Ask for C3 types they have higher internal clearances and tend to be a little 'looser'. NSK, FAG and SKF make all these sizes and are very good quality. NB never pay list price. In the UK they are often discounted by more than 80% for trade sales.

nah it was less then 10000 rpm because when he let go of the compressed air you can hear less noise then a small grinder
impressive you can see that, given that you can only see 60 frames in a second in this video, how you could tell it was spinning 7 times every frame is amazing! /s

The best fidget spinner in existence. You should attach a flywheel to it so it spins for even longer. I can't believe how long the separate bearings bounced around after they fell out. I also liked how it looked when you threw it into water.

I recently bought this product. First impressions meh not a great spin time could be better... but bearings always work better when broken in now it spins great and its super quiet. Im happy with the product and I got it well ahead of the expected delivery date.

With the air hose: when you get it going so fast it sounds like a turbine engine: I strongly recommend that you do not hold it with your hand, and do not let the plane of it's rotation be in a line with anything valuable (including body parts). There's no way of telling just how fast it's going from the video, but the metal could suffer a "catastrophic failure" if you spin it fast enough... and then you have a shrapnel bomb, with a radial blast pattern.
