after I tried this g303 I really really appreciated my gpw soo much. Switching back to my gpro felt soo relaxing and I had like 1000x better and snappier control than on the g303. The mouse didn't worked for me at all because it really wants you to grip it mainly in the far front with your fingers on these angled sides. When I grip my mice I have a more loose claw grip mixed with fingertips and more in the back, almost fingertipping the back butt of any mouse to have really freedom in moving it in all kinds of directions. But on the g303, especially with smaller-medium sized hands it's impossible to truly fingertip it in the back. I mean this mouse has no real sides in the back to grip. the sides in the back go inwards.. nothing to grip on.
I love the shape and look of it, but man Logitech is so damn greedy these days. I don't know anyone who thinks 130$ is ok for a MOUSE. It looks a little better than the g305 and you can get that on sale for like 35$. This should be 60$ at most.

(-__-)_/ I have the Gpw/superlightx as my main and have my G203 (Which is the closest shape that comes to the new G303) as my '3rd main' that I have ready to go on top of my desk. I have 3 Fps mouse that I use. 1st SuperlightX, 2nd-Viper 8K, and 3rd-G203. Lol I told myself I would stop buying mice after I found that 'Endgame' which I did with the SuperlightX but this new G303-Shroud edition has a very interesting shape that I really want try out and has the 25K Hero Sensor which is that Flagship sensor Logitech makes and its wireless, little pricey at $130 but the SuperlightX was more when that came out. But what it will really come down to is the Shape & Size. Size checks the box for me with medium sized hands & do prefer a smaller mouse, and will just have to see if the shape will blend in with my relaxed claw/fingertip grip style. I want to buy it now, but actually willing to wait if Logitech will be coming out with the White version G303, they did white & black with the superlight so I assume they would do the same for the G303? Does anyone know? Cheers lads. & always appreciate your content Mr. Techne always great coverage of the latest Fps mice.
I have the regular G305 and I didn't know the shroud edition is actually different in shape. I have it now for more than 1 year and it's really great and comfortable for my small hand. The mouse is some what heavy so Later i used aaa battery to make it lighter.
Interesting shape but still feel it's overpriced. Hate that usb drawer at the butt of the G303 as randomfrankp pointed out. Waste of space and adds needless weight. Mouse could have easily been 70-72 grams. Logitech is just too slow and stagnant. Those new extrify wireless M4 are spicing things up, 2 shells, modular battery placement to shift centre of gravity. Rad!
Why, WHY did they keep that nasty smooth scroll wheel? They should have replaced it with the modern GPW/G903 wheel. That's a deal breaker for me, sadly. :/
The Orochi V2 is TINY so choose that if you have very small hands. G303SE if you have medium or large hands and use claw grip. GPW or GPX Superlight for medium or large hands with fingertip or palm grip.
Let’s be real just putting shroud name on something doesn’t mean shit. Logitech is way out of touch with the consumer. They can hit some home runs but they give zero fucks what anyone wants and just does what they want, the apple of computer peripherals if you will. Regardless nice seeing a refresh I hope for them they start hearing us to get out products we all know they can make.

@Obskir ill give it a shot again once i get bored with my model o wireless, but right now im still satisfied with it. been a year without issues and still feels like brand new.
No click switches info as far as I can find, but at least they sound good to me.
It uses the Logitech G1s (retooled Omron D2FC-F-7N 20M). Same switches in the GPX Superlight and the G Pro Wireless (latest GPW version switched from 50M to 20M last winter).
@@blueridge8992 50m to 20 m is a downgrade right
@@this_katharsis2227 no it’s not becuz omron 50ms have lots of double clickigg. So 20ms last longer , but they’re less crispy
@@dreadsonix3961 i see thanks for the info. What does 50M indicate tho? the number of click lifespan?
@@this_katharsis2227 Yeah, its what the manafacturer intended it to be and what they probably support. Its kinda just an average of how long it will prob last. But omron 50ms die a lot quicker than 50m clicks.
Why logitech make this mouse weight 75g??? Pro X much bigger and weight only 63g...
Shroud wanted a bigger battery. This mouse has over double the battery life of the GPX.
@@blueridge8992 the extra weight is not worth that battery life as who needs 140 hours the GPX already had amazing battery life at 70 hours while also weighing less and being a bigger mouse
looks like a beefier g305
Hope it comes out with a white version
maybe if they make a superlight which is what im waiting for
(-__-)_/ I have the Gpw/superlightx as my main and have my G203 (Which is the closest shape that comes to the new G303) as my '3rd main' that I have ready to go on top of my desk.
Love the videos brotha keep it up
YO this thing is gnarly
May have to try it! Damn!
g303 is not for every one but if fit you hand i can say is the n1 mic for all game
I have the regular G305 and I didn't know the shroud edition is actually different in shape.
I have it now for more than 1 year and it's really great and comfortable for my small hand. The mouse is some what heavy so Later i used aaa battery to make it lighter.
waiting for beardedbob weight reduction video 🤫
Interesting shape but still feel it's overpriced. Hate that usb drawer at the butt of the G303 as randomfrankp pointed out. Waste of space and adds needless weight. Mouse could have easily been 70-72 grams. Logitech is just too slow and stagnant. Those new extrify wireless M4 are spicing things up, 2 shells, modular battery placement to shift centre of gravity. Rad!
same exact dimensions as the super light ., kinda weird.
Why, WHY did they keep that nasty smooth scroll wheel? They should have replaced it with the modern GPW/G903 wheel. That's a deal breaker for me, sadly. :/
Use side buttons alot and these button placements seem even worse than the original g303.
I think its same like endgame gear xm1r
This vs orochi v2 ?
The Orochi V2 is TINY so choose that if you have very small hands. G303SE if you have medium or large hands and use claw grip. GPW or GPX Superlight for medium or large hands with fingertip or palm grip.
@@blueridge8992 thank u very much
I heard its $130
Yes that is the official price :(
What the fuck with the thumbnail. Lmao. I love it.
This mouse should be renamed to Stickin Cozy instead of G303
for people, please priorities your comfort and grip style we aint shroud
Love the vid as always. but the mice is just meh :(
What up dawg!
Yo yo
