- Semper Fidelis, from the Palmer-Hughes Accordion Course, book 7.
THIS IS BEAST. This is the first time the knuckles of my left hand have ever hurt and sweated. Book 7 seems to take it to a new level altogether. But the satisfaction is worth it :D
Enjoy! Видеоклипы
Wunderbar gespielt vor allen mit den Bässen. Danke einAkkordeonist
Still love your accordion playing, seeing your incredible dexterity and coordination and knowing actually which buttons to push and keys without looking at them has always amazed me. Your Roumanian Rhapsody playing is especially astounding. I feel that more than one instrument is there when you play, Great Job!
I know, and it pains me that I have little to no possibility of playing. My skill is deteriorating since I have less chances to actually take the accordion and play something (living in an 8-person flat, 3-person room). I recently try to find any occasion I can to brush up, since first I need to review all the books I've played through so far. I will actively try to continue as soon as I get the chance, most probably when I rent my own apartment sometime. Thank you for the encouragement!!!
Do not stop son, you've got talent.
I hear ya bro - enjoy your time in the flat with your buddies - that's some good stuff that won't come back later - play when ya can to stay sharp, but you are only young once
@AbsitInvidea Notice that the model is centered horizontally. The brand is Titano, the model is Titan ( III if I remember well)
Fantastic!
Again, Fine bass work.
But I do want to thank you for this videography - I'm going on 2.5 years of lessons from a retired accordion master, and I'm loving. But still I'm not near where you are. We are going different route as far as what he is teaching, but I live listening to your stuff and trying the Palmer books.
That was GREAT !!!
Cool!
Excellent, please play more classical pieces and Marches.. If u can try "The Guadacanal March from Victory at Sea Richard Rodgers)
@Ch1mp90 ahh lol Never heard of a titan; it looks alot like my Titano
but mine is red with only three shifts on the keyboard side and 2 by the buttons
It's nice to see what songs I would have learned how to play if I had kept
learning. Maybe I'll start again. Can I still get those books anywhere?
I stopped at the 2nd Hungerian Rhapsody.
@tomclemans hah not really lol. I just learn pieces that I really like much faster than usual, dunno why... Anyways, it'll be a while till I upload the next vid due to a pile of jobs that I have to do.. Adulthood is coming inevitably... Oh well..
Best wishes :D,
Simon
@AbsitInvidea It took me a bit to find it too lol. Got it based on specs. And yes, the books are still in bookstores everywhere, including amazon. I'm planning on getting PHAC 8, 9 and 10 and start some serious playing. Funny you stopped at the 2nd Hungarian - that's where I stopped when I was 10 years old. Didn't play the accordion for years, until I finally got the urge to get back to it :) Although currently, my playing frequency is a sine wave.
Another winner! You must be practicing 16-20 hours a day. :-D
Dude - where did you go? You got books 8, 9 and 10 - come on my man
you should upload the sheet music =)
Good luck...
nice; i have a titano too lol; looks like you lost the 'O'
