    Since founding their company Tone It Up (ToneItUp.com) in January 2009, certified personal trainers Karena Dawn and Katrina Hodgson have opened a fitness studio in Hermosa Beach and launched a workout DVD series. They were recently called the "New Faces of Fitness" by Jane Fonda.

    absolutely love how this workout takes less than 5 minutes!
    No more excuses for me,cause no matter how busy I am, this will only take me 4 minutes to do ;)

    I've lost about 30-40 pounds within the last 3-4 months and I hadn't been doing a lot of muscle toning or sculpting but I found your videos and I've been doing them for about three weeks and I've seen a huge difference. I'm only 15 so weight loss and toning was tough for me because I would struggle but you guys make it fun and easy to do. I get to go to Florida in a week and I'm so happy of my transformation. Thanks and keep making more videos!

    I have had chronic fatigue syndrome for 18 yrs. My health has improved dramatically over the past yr, so I am working towards getting my muscles toned back up. This vid is great for getting my legs toned back up. I would like to see a vid from you on lifting the booty back up.

    The magical key is actually a nice combination of cardio and weights/toning exercises! So you don't have to do non-stop cardio if it's not your favorite, but it is definitely an essential piece. Try to find something you love doing for cardio so it turns into a fun activity instead of something you dread. There are tons of options!

    i cant thank you guys enough. i just started the workout. my bf and i just broke up, the only thing makes me happy and not to think the sadness is doing the work out and tone my body. so thank you. can you make more workout steps for arms and inner tights?

    You young ladies are great - and fitness role models for us women! Thanks for the great exercises I can do at home while saving money. But do you have a good warm-up routine to get started before jumping into the exercises? If not, I'd really love a warm-up and cool-down/stretching video. Thanks!

    I love how natural their personalities about exercise are. Like when they're trying to keep balance and such. :) It really keeps it real, and reminds me of my super nice aerobics/pilates instructor. :D

    Those mores were good for the legs. I have knee problems but I just adjust the move to be able to keep toning.

    I love this workout, do you guys mind doing a full 60 minute or longer video of a full body workout that makes the pouch less "pouchy: (or completely get rid of it), and keep the legs toned, and also makes you sweat like crazy and burn alot of fat. I'm 17, and I love working out, great workout!

    Great for the inner muscles, esp. on the sand I bet. I will try this on the beach next week. I had to pause it to do both legs, I like symmetry.

    Would love to see a shoulder series to strengthen from the internal stabilizers to the outer and lower lats. I'm looking for something to compliment yoga and rock climbing.

    Forget the drama below. I'm trying to tone up and LOVE your videos. I'm looking for a good calf workout. My thighs are bigger and I have small calf muscles. I'm trying to workout and lose extra weight I gained in a short period of time. I was one to never worry about my weight or what I ate, but for some reason I gained 30 lbs in 2 1/2 months

    I would love to see some workouts for the "Transversus Abdominis" muscle. ive heard that when you dont workout this muscle you run the risk of developing a Squared Torso (straight up and down) instead of the Hourglass Shape. Love your Channel cant wait to see more :)

    our legs won’t lose much fat from this workout, but this make your muscles stronger, and that will help with workouts that do burn fat.

    We love working out on the beach since it adds that little something "extra" -- sand as resistance!

    Holy man, Tia your legs are so huge and it's not from exercise, you won't get bulky if you do it everyday, you will get beautiful legs.

    Is one set of this every other day good enough to give results? When you don't mention anything about reps for your workouts, does that mean only one set is good?

    So for each set are you doing 8 to 12? I'm trying to set up a work out that will tone both abs and legs, being that you can't have one without the other lol, so is it better to go for more or stick to 6-8?? thanks for the great tips!!

    First, you must look at how fit the instructor's body is...it's only after that should you decide to listen to them. haha I'm about to "tone it up" on a Thursday like a BOSS!

    I was wondering, do i have to do all that workout to loose fat? or can i just do cardio? Is cardio the magical key lol :) I hate cardio but i hate having love handles more, i have a lil fat on the inner thigh and butt area, other then that i am rather skinny. which is pretty good for 3 kids! :-)
    If i only do cardio will that slinder me down or do i have to do all those crazy workouts you girls do? hehehe :) thanks for you help :)

    We always recommend checking with your doctor if something is bothering you before proceeding. We don't want you to ruin your knees either!

    No. But it will strengthen your muscles. The more muscles you have, the more calories you burn on an everyday basis. You will have to lose thigh fat (or, to be more precise, general body fat -- you can't spot reduce) by limiting your calorie intake (you need to burn more calories than you take in)
