Honestly, it's so painful to see probably the biggest FPS franchise just not care at all. Even as recently as WW2, they made a MASSIVE overhaul to how classes worked, and no they're just actively ignoring feedback
But even with the overhaul, WW2 still was awful. They just absolutely cannot get it right anymore. In my opinion, the last really good cod game was BO3. MW19 was alright sometimes. But they aren’t in the zone like they were with CoD4 through BO2.
If you have someone that has the gun they can drop it to you on dmz and you can extract with it and that way you can have the gun without having to grind bc it unlocks it for you

the cronen squall isn't an acr, its irl counterpart is one of the weapons from the NGSW program to replace the m4 in the US, the General Dynamics RM277 I believe
I think it's more so in relation to cod weapons, than to irl weapons if that makes sense. Like there could be 2 different guns from 2 different cod games, but both fill in the "mp5" role if that makes sense.

Back in 2009 most every gun didn't have recoil in COD because they were more concerned about being an Arcade FPS than being a Military Simulator, so of course something chambered in what is nearing 7.62 is going to recoil fairly heavily. Back in 2009 the Developers didn't even discern different calibers, they focused on the game being fun. Got my opinion from using both guns, MW2 2009 was my first game and is still the best COD in history, once you build out the Cronen Squall its recoil becomes a lot more manageable and predictable like the TAQ-V.
