I paddled from The Cutts to Drumaheglis marina last summer. I was solo in an inflatable tandem. There was a strong headwind and my arms gave up at the marina. It was heaven going back. Hardly needed to paddle - just steer. There was a lot of algae in the water that day, but I had no intention of getting in it. I was surprised to see people in wetsuits at Camus swimming about.
I was predictably confused and amused there for a moment 😂 Glad to see you back in an X500, and not just any X500 but a famous @the-river-rat continuation, it seems! Thanks for the shoutout, and interesting that you actually had colder temperatures than we did there! Went out yesterday in 2 to 4° C with virtually no wind and mostly flat sea water. Just awesome. Some really nice river footage there - happy river ratting!
Thanks Patrik, It's fun to have an inflatable, which I hope to use during a trip to Scotland this summer. We have some lovely rivers, I intend to paddle the estuary section soon.

When you've mentioned before to me about that green weed I had no idea it was that bad and actually made people sick. Let's just hope your government do something about it, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you. I have to say that really does look like a beautiful spot for a paddle.

It seems that the talking is in the x500. I enjoyed this video really much, maybe because it is kind of the video vlogging I do. Your are my favorite vlogger now! They did the same in Sweden with the small railroads. Around 90´s the also have problem with the same, but I´m think the change and forbidden to use the bad fertilize, more natural now. Seems like we also have the same weather now, maybe we have it little colder -3 this morning and going to take the bike to work.

It's a lovely stretch of river but it can be a hard pull
