A UV and heat resistant clear coat is added on top of the carbon fiber to protect it against discoloration and give it a nice, smoot surface finish. However, I go the extra mile with F11 by Top Coat which is a great polisher & sealer, Our 2013 GTI has an APR carbon intake & still LQQKS great. Shipping date for the same intake for my 2024 Autobahn is now 4 weeks out. Awaiting Stage 1 to arrive soon.

@@octane_media yeah i saw the other guy doing the comparaison on day to day with all the tune, 034 was his pick as its more linear then uni which was more "punchy" on in your face! Curious to know your feedback in your next vid :)
I had a 2019. Hood chipped a lot. It got totaled, I picked up a new R , first stop X pel on the hood. I couldn’t afford the whole front end. PS not heavy chipping on many new cars.

Yes I do i recommend it every time you flash the car no matter what brand !
Are u planing on upgrading the clutch if so what u gonna get
I am planning on doing an upgraded clutch , I will probably be doing one of southbends clutches I haven’t decided on which one yet!

I wish I had done atleast some sort of PPF on the front my hoods been pretty heavily chipped from the trip to Denver twice now !
Sweet SxS collection. My GTI has 2k miles on it and already has a few stone chips. Kinda regretting not getting Xpel on the hood 😡
I’m right there with you I wish I would have done atleast a frontal bra on my GTI but that will have to wait for the front end swap !

No it’s something I personally changed , I used an OBD11 tool
Seems like VWs paint will chip easily. My 2018 Golf R was the same way, full of paint chips!
