Just watched all three videos... thank you for taking the time to make them... I am about to start an Identical project, and after watching, I'm now ready!
Love it! Found your channel and the 3 part series because i am about to do the exact same thing in my garage for the exact same reason: dust getting everywhere because i use half my garage for a wood shop. Thanks for sharing and great work!!!
Awesome 3 part series. I'm looking to enclose a laundry space inside my garage now. About the same size as what you did with your shop. This definitely gave me the confidence to do it. Nice editing too. Made for very easy watching.
Lee, I just watched all 3 videos. Great job! I'm looking to do the same thing to my garage. I have zero experience with this and trying to decide if I should get a pro. Great videos and thanks for sharing!
Just found all 3 of these building parts and what a fantastic job that you did, at least your wife is happy that there is no more dust on the cars ha ha. Well Done. Barry (ENG)
OBVIOUSLY YOU ARE WAY BEYOND A DIY . THIS IS WAY PROFESSIONAL . YOUR WORK IS EXCELLENT EVEN PROFESSIONAL BUILDERS DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL LIKE YOU DO. THIS IS AMAZING WORK BROTHER TRULY. DID YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICIAN TO INSPECT THE WIRING? YOU PROBABLY ARE A CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN ANYWAY SEEING THE FLOWLESS WORK YOU DID. THIS WAS REFRESHING TO WATCH ,THANK YOU
I really appreciate these 3 videos. I am doing the same thing myself in a day or two and this gave me several good ideas. You did a great job. Particularly I like you electrical access panel and I like the tip to fame as you go because floors and ceilings are not level or flat. I like you idea to sheet rock the wife's side and OSB yours. I will do that. I think I will use PT for a base plate. I am lazy and will likely try to find a door with a window. I also hadn't thought of the window. Great idea. One question: Had you considered not installing so many outlets and instead of installing a couple of long outlet strips on the wall surface? Or did you do this to run separate circuits for different positions? Or just to avoid a strip?
Lee. Great three part video on garage wall. I was looking for this exact thing as I have exact situation in INDY. Identical garages too it looks like. Great music choices as well.....very easy listening and not obnoxious rap hip hop...Loved this three part video. Dave
Watched all 3. Can I ask how we could put styrofoam insulation instead and use drywall instead??? What’s warmer? Plywood is a fortune now. But will drywall and insulation be ok ??
I only used plywood so I can hang anything anywhere on the wall easily. If I were to do it again I would use drywall like I did on the exterior walls. However, drywall takes more skills to mud and finish. As far as insulation, I would use fiberglass batt insulation to fill cavities, not styrofoam.
@@LeeHill66 u atlst got a channel going on look at me I hvnt yet started n I only make do by using parts of my paintings as my account icon ☺..... I will start in a year or so too☺
Yes it was made for 2x4 studs. However, there is quite a bit of allowance where the jambs slide together. The allowance is there for different wall finishes( 5/8, 1/2, 3/8 or 1/4 in sheetrock or paneling). Thanks for watching
After watching all 3 videos you have now given me the confidence to start planning a dividing wall in my garage. Thank you 🙏🏼
Great! Good luck with your project.

I am always amazed at watching someone work, who knows what to do. I can't properly work a hammer. Very cool!
planing on to do a dividing wall in my garage also, the use of preassembled door is a good idea as its often faster and cheaper to install.
Bravo, Sir! I was pretty sure I wanted to do a similar project between my 2-stall and 1-stall garage bays. Now I am certain.
Just finished watching all 3 parts, great work Lee👍 new subscriber
I appreciate your attention to detail and you are truly talented! Great job!
Lee I was sad to see the series come to an end because I learned a lot from seeing your work! Thanks for all the fine content & video.

Thanks Dave. Hope it helped. Good luck with your build.

You use clear silicone to install plexiglass into the beads
🙋 hi lee came by to see your channel ☺
Hello Winona, not much to see here. I haven't uploaded in a long time. I may start again. Thanks for dropping by

@@LeeHill66 thanks 🙏 ☺👍
wow, you are too good!
good stuff
good job, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
thank you very much for taking time to film...i'm doing something similar and you inspired me.
Nice space for a shop. Now you really really need a dust collector. I'm coughing just from watching.
looks good, will be something very similar soon
Wasn’t that door made for 2X4’s? How did you get it to sit flush with the 2X3’s?
Yes it was made for 2x4 studs. However, there is quite a bit of allowance where the jambs slide together. The allowance is there for different wall finishes( 5/8, 1/2, 3/8 or 1/4 in sheetrock or paneling). Thanks for watching
good job!
I'm kinda disappointed that you didn't pull a "Here's Johnny" at the 6:38 mark.
LOL..wish I had thought of that.
How long did this take? :) I’m planning on doing about the same for my garage because I want my own room.
About 3 days total to build wall, wire it, paint and add door
Lee Hill awesome job! Thank you!
Holy shit, that door assembly is the laziest thing I've ever seen, awsome - where to get one? It comes with trim and all in one go? Amazing. :D
also, a light sanding on that window would give it a frosted look and any scratches would be of no concern. Thanks for awsome vid.
Thanks Stefan. It's called a pre-hung door. Pretty common these days. I might consider the frosted look.
Hate to get that longsleeve sweater caught up in there
👏👍
