So we were about to drop almost 9k for two walls like this in our garage, some electrical outlets and floor leveling. Think I’ll just get the floor leveled and handle everything else myself. You’re an inspiration brother and I’m glad I came across your channel.
I appreciate you owned your mistakes. A lot of makers would edit it out and make it seem like a flawless, fluid project when in reality most projects are not. Great video! I learned a lot too. Thank you!
You've got another subscriber here. You were honest about your errors but educated me along the way..I wish my builder boss was as cool and positive as you are. Congratulations buddy
Love that you showed your mistakes, and love that you called out the peanut gallery before you even started! Doing some similar room-splitting/wall building at my studio soon. Subscribed!!
Hi, I know you may never see this post, but I just wanted to say this, thank you for your video because I really needed help building a wall to separate my garage. Thank you and keep the videos coming.
Just stumbled upon your video. Dude you are awesome. I'm needing this info because I am about to do my garage and needed help. I appreciate this video bigtime. Thanks!
I'm just a weekend warrior but i really like trying to make stuff, I'm always learning from my mistakes, i like how you are open and honest and learning at the same time. cool video, i enjoyed it and your friendly open style
I'm getting ready to do something similar to one of the bays in our garage. The wife is under the impression that cars are supposed to be parked in garages for some reason which is why I'm only going to have a single slot for my work. But I found some of this helpful. Thanks for the helpful tips on what to do as well as not do you.
Good job. A Hilti sure shot will help you fasten into concrete. Its quick and tidy although they are expensive so if you don't own one I would suggest renting from your fav local store. Thanks for video.
Great video. I wish you would show how you nailed in the studs. I had such a hard time doing this myself, especially since my ceiling is 16 feet. So much wobble trying to nail them in. I have one wall to go. This time I'm going to build the wall first then stand it up.
Awesome. I wish you had a metal framed shop though, I can’t figure out how I’m gonna put a wall up to separate my work space from the parking spot. Good work none the less.
Cool project. What size is your workshop going to be? I'm also building my workshop in the shed next to my house. Not big 12x12ft. I'm planning to build a new one twice the size in the future. Subscribed

Greg Sherbon thanks so much Greg. Means sooo much.
Right! It's so refreshing and increases the likelihood that 'you' will attempt the project!
A trick: watch movies at Flixzone. Been using it for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Isaiah Anderson Definitely, I've been watching on flixzone} for years myself :D

Thanks for sharing this. Just curious if you had heard about building the wall horizontally on the floor then standing it in place.
Did you have a slope going towards the garage door? I assume every cut had to be different for each stud.

What do you think of a plastic window in the frame so you can see the fam when they return?

Great vid. Could you list the material you used for the wall? Especially the concrete anchor bolts

Joseph Coonrod thanks so much. Really appreciate it.
Do it the cheap easy way. Use a tarp
I've been thinking about doing something like this to keep the dust out of the other side of the garage.
Bro, I am about to start a similar project. Thanks for the info
Love that you show your mistakes! Thanks for the vid 👍
