Neat concept but a few things that came to mind when watching this. 1) As others have mentioned, there's no indication of how utilities are connected. 2) Having interior walls with the same insulation factor as the exterior walls might make smaller rooms uncomfortable in certain climates. Specifically, I'm thinking rooms could get very hot in a home with forced heat. 3) Sure looks like the floor plan is locked-in once built. So no additions unless you are able to convert an exterior door to a passage to the addition. 4) There's no basement in the video and I'm curious if using this product precludes having a basement for some reason. 5) It looks like multiple deliveries are needed which suggests the need for a nearby distribution center to make this economical. Belgium has a rather small geographical footprint. So this product 'coming to the United States' might only make it economically accessible to certain regions.
I'm an electrical contractor as well as interested in novel, efficient building methods. How do electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems go in and operate? What types of entry, window, and garage openings work best?
Had the same question and was able to find this on their website: gablok.be/en/faq/how-do-different-technical-finishing-touches-find-their-place-in-a-gablok-construction/ along with some pictures.
i just got my degree in electrical technology and someone showed this to me and asked me how the wiring was supposed to work. I am also interested. i see there is a link as a reply so im gonna have to check it out. If not for the strangeness of this year, finding a job in the field would be far easier? or is finding a job in the field always going to be difficult?
Seems to me theres some trim around each box that creates a little bit of room between the blocks and the drywall. But they don't answer how these are supposed to get outside of the building. These blocks aren't as easy as they make them seem, theres still a fair amount of work that has to go in, especially on the interior
Would be nice to see all the techincal aspect of this. How well does it compare to pre-fab building components(ofc this is a type of pre-fab but still). How well does it perform in wet and damp conditions, like in the UK? Seems to be rather thick with insulation material which would be good when counting the energy consumption. Installations like wiring, plumbing and ventilation network/shaft. Nonetheless, cool invention, I can see loads of different capabilites it could have on future housing projects!
C.G. A i feel that’s obvious. This is a startup with a totally new building system. If, big if, this ever gets to mass market then I will be interesting what costs would be
why is it that none of your videos show the finished product, they all show the building process, but we don't get to see what a finished house looks like
I want 500 of these to build my own house and is this type of insulation a special kind like in the winter it keeps the cold out and heat in and in the hotter months keeps the hot out and the cold in
Our blocks are not available in Australia at the moment. We should start selling them in the second semester of 2024. Feel free to visit our website to stay up to date!
Where does the electrical and plumbing go?
Minecraft 2.0 😄
Kidding aside I really like this concept!!
Must make it so much easier to build a house with this.

Wow... incredible!
Awesome!
Very nice!
I'm impressed!
This concept looks great. I think they can start promoting it as storage units in home backyards.

i just wonder - how much it would cost?
Same
@@bananamanjo3 Me too. What's the price?
58,000 USD per 2200 square feet.
@@h311cat5 i wouldnt mind even half that space
@@h311cat5 Please site your source for that USD $58,000
bravoo! c'est une superbe idée
Amazing!!!! hi from Greece
No pricing anywhere, so it must be ridiculously high priced
I agree. I've searched but no price quote anywhere so I just assume, if the price is so hidden, it must definitely be very very expensive.
C.G. A i feel that’s obvious. This is a startup with a totally new building system. If, big if, this ever gets to mass market then I will be interesting what costs would be
58,000 USD for around 2200 sqft.
I have a question regarding your flooring, is the floor of the 2nd storey as strong as it would be in a traditionally-built house?
Awesome. Hope you can implement this new product and technology.
Greetings from Brazil.
Do you offer this in the USA and do you have some kind of price list or models?
why is it that none of your videos show the finished product, they all show the building process, but we don't get to see what a finished house looks like

I read on the website that the insulation blocks are made from unusable oil waste? If the house were to catch fire, how flammable is this material?
cool l'IT
I think the main problem is the building laws, here in Switzerland they will hardly allow such a building blocks concept.
I’d like to see the finish product , cause every code for building a house has a reason ... I don’t think this could resist an earthquake
Justt put some Seismic damper . lol....
Wooden/Light structures perform well under seismic movement . Wood happens to have one of the highest strength to weight ratio
I cannot find any videos of a completed home.
nunca la puedo ver terminada

Is it fire rated
is this type construction allowed in new jersey?

How do you install utilities? Cut out the blocks?
Homego go!
Hey! Is there an email I can contact y'all at! Your website wasn't able to answer my questions.
do you sell to Australia ????
