I want to know if I could play offline elden ring at work
Did you run into any weirdness during customs/bag check/security at the airport? I am scared about putting my steam deck through the airport scanners but I guess I should just treat it like a laptop?
I used the TomToc sling bag so it was already separated from my luggage.
I had no issues with taking it through customs personally.

What happens if you connect to wifi overseas? I mean, why go offline mode at all?
Connecting to WiFi overseas works.
The offline mode thing is only for like, if you go to a country with no Internet or something.
To be honest i think that the offline experience is really bad for a handheld, steam doesn't track your playtime, achievements doesn't work, i can't even see my screenshots without going to desktop mode.
Please can someone help me?
In case I don't have constant internet access few months, can I play offline games like Elden Ring, RDR2, Dark Souls etc. normally or steam deck requires internet access for playing games?

Elden Ring and Dark Souls are not online only games. They should be fine in Offline Mode.
RDR2 I don't know as I don't actually own the game. Never played it.
And if you're really concerned, you should try taking your Steam Deck offline with those games and test it out for yourself.
@@HiTechLoLife I am working as a seafarer and 4-6 months I don't have available internet access for Steam Deck. Somewhere I saw the comment that Steam Deck requires internet connection for some updates. If it is not possible to play games without internet connection than Steam Deck is useless for me.😅

The only thing you need to be wary of are games with forms of DRM. Unfortunately you'll need to do your own research but quite a few games these days are DRM free. You should be able to take them on the go in offline mode.
As a seafarer with slow wifi on-board, i want to play FFX and other games offline.
Most games work fine offline. It's usually the modern AAA games that may have DRM that occasionally phones home to ensure you didn't pirate or whatever.
But even on slow internet those games tend to work fine as it isn't like you're downloading anything or are playing with others.

Go offline mode before turning wi-fi off and you should be good for a bit for denuvo titles
