That corrupted possession idea has a lot in common with Returnal’s Parasites system. Limitless opportunities with these kinds of systems hope they come to fruition one day.
I like this game a lot. The mechanics are great and I like the visuals too. The first time I played, I got my ass whipped! I appreciate your ideas, but I like the game the way it is now! More bosses would be ok but I don’t play it as much as you do!
Honestly, before new content, I want to see existing things improved. Map content: - issues with some objects e.g certain rocks being rendered inside out. - traps/objects ending up under the ground - object collision fixes so you are not shooting around objects but still hitting them - or having enemies stuck inside terrain Render range improvements: - some enemies can attack you while not being rendered as they are too far away. We have a sniper class but cant really use it to maximum effectiveness even on open maps. Enemy AI improvements: - more enemy styles (as per video) - AI is stupidly dumb. It needs a proper perception system as enemies currently just shoot at you behind cover. You can't break contact and attack from a different direction etc. enemies don't try to flank etc.
Yeah these are all very good points. My buddy at work has the game on quest and he was telling me about a bunch of crazy bugs he seems to produce as well. The AI is a good point. The shooting pattern becomes predictable. Just hide behind cover, let them pop off a few shots then roast them.
You talk about this game a lot and I really can't see anything in videos to get me interested in it. Are you showing a Quest 2 version game play? It kind of looks too mobile VR graphics like games I played on the Daydream View. Maybe I am just thinking about HL2 VR or Doom 3 on the Quest 2 graphics look better and they are older. I guess I haven't played it yet to judge it. Did you ever play Journey of the Gods? That kind of have same graphics but the game play is unique and different.
I like the game’s visuals. It’s not super high res, but the art style is really great and it’s one of those games that has a lot of style and theme and the visuals look better in the headset. But TLB just has awesome gunplay with strong rougelike elements with a lot of content.
Which of these ideas are good? How can we make them better, and which ones needs trashed??

Not entirely sure if it’s your type of game. I want to learn towards probably not
