having side and down scan next to 2 d really helps to interpret whats going on with the fish

Used to fish that lake in the early 80s from little one-man plastic boat and had great fun but I bet it's a real circus nowadays., especially in warmer months. Might be an interesting video to compare the scans of the place from before a busy weekend to where the fish are after.

It get out of control when it’s warmer. However the bass have lots of grass to hang in during that time. I also fished it back in the 90’s and it’s a shadow of itself. Not to mention they keep the water about 20ft lower so it is shrunk down, with much of the best structure high and dry.

Thanx AA. How big is your lake? I really like the side scan, but electronics has never been my strong point. I think this year I'm going to focus on electronics a little more. I fish tidal rivers, so it's kept the sonar boys at bay. That said, any info is good info.

It’s pretty small, I can cover it in a day. We have the California Delta a couple hours up the road, which is tidal. In the winter time the bays with housing are hot spots as the water moves less. I use electronics for depth and temperature is about it. FFS does come in to play for weed lines and such.

Calero. Anderson has been closed for a couple years and will be for many more.
